  • I live in New Mexico and it's not that wierd. There are people from Mexico with white names because they live in a predominantly white culture. There are also white kids with spanish names because there is a strong influence of Mexican culture in New Mexico. It's really not that wierd.

Richardson has been around a long time and he's one of our most influential polititians on foreign policy. i live in NY and have heard of Richardson many times.

  • It's a nice thing for a Presidential candidate to take a position on issues like this, but I would rather not have my President waste his time. This is a local issue, and if it is going to be handled on the federal level, it should be delegated. Let the President focus on the things that matter, like national security, education and health care. Ending dog-fighting is important, but not worthy of the President's attention.

  • How to identify a possible threat to America: short, dark skin, black hair, black/brown eyes, a Muslim. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work, because some Muslims choose to not bring a bomb, and some are non-violent. Sadly, some don't have these characteristics and are illegal aliens.

  • I'm going to say something here and I don't want any Bill fans to jump on me for it. I'm a Ron Paul supporter BUT! I really think that Bill is a good, honest man. I have listened to him in the debates and he comes accross like Ron Paul does in a way, you can listen to someone and tell if they are honest or not, and I believe that Bill is the real thing and not a act. I like the man.

  • Richardson has my vote. His foreign policy is beyond extraordinary. With him, we will have exponentially better relations with primary and 3rd world countries. He has a sense of humor, and he is sincere and keeps his word. Vote Richardson!!!

They are going to focus on black vs female this year, because they know it's the controversy that will make people watch their TVs. This is a good man though, my favorite candidate.

  • These videos are like a resume for employment--because that's basically what they are.

    This one is one of the better videos because it lays out the accomplishments that this candidate prefers to make us aware of and gives us a better idea about what he intends to put on his agenda as president. Whether I'd vote for him or not, it's a well done video. That alone certainly does put him in favor with me as well as the issues themselves.

  • So that means you're an atheist (Christians shouldn't deny their faith). Anyway, why would there be any excuse for abortion? If the mother doesn't want the child, the child is still alive and that would be murder, and the child could have been adopted. If it's because of rape, what if one day your mother told you that you were actually born because she was raped and she was thinking of aborting you but chose not to?

  • I like the use of "shouldn't"; apparently they do? There are instances of medical complications likely to kill both mother and child where it makes sense, among other reasons

  • Yes, some do, but they shouldn't. I've heard of those instances where both mother and father could be killed, and it is a very hard decision. However, I still think that abortion isn't the right decision in any case. I know to an atheist this sounds really stupid but I think that if both the child and the mother die during the birth then it is God's will. Even in that instance the mother would still regret killing the baby. What are some other instances?

  • Very young women are not always ready to accept their decisions that lead to pregnancy. Some are unable to let their parents know, or perhaps people at school/in their age group. Others, young and old, use proper protection and still become pregnant. It is a huge responsibility to go through the 9 months of pregnancy.

    I'm still curious as to why it mattered to you whether I was christian or not. I'm also intrigued that I couldn't be a muslim or jew that was pro-abortion.

  • Young women need to be more responsible for their actions then and fight the urge to have sex before marriage, everyone is responsibe for their own actions. Just because someone is too lazy to be responsible for their actions doesn't mean a person should die. I don't care if they're ashamed to tell their parents or their peers, again, they need to step up and be responsible! In other cases, such as when a condom rips, it's not the baby's fault the condom ripped is it?

  • You can't be a Christian and still be pro abortion. Life starts at conception. Even if it's not a baby then, it has a potential for it. So, abortion is considered killing. We know that it is not right to kill, especially for your own convenience.

  • He is such a fraud, and everyone in New Mexico knows it. His wife doesn't even live in New Mexico, she lives in Mass. where they actually maintain their residence. Born in Pasadena, CA, he had no use for this state until he found he could use it as a springboard to run for President. He only uses his "Hispanic" background when it suits his political aspirations. He has practically bankrupted New Mexico with his spending practices.

  • I would like to see Governor Richardson mention and support more international affairs. Problems like global poverty are affecting each and every one of us on a daily basis. The U.S should not forget the commitment made towards the U.N. Millennium Goals (a pact of ending extreme world hunger by the year 2025) in 2000. According to The Borgen Project, an annual $19 billion dollars is needed to end world hunger by the year 2025.

    I think that, as anyone can see, America has enough problems already without worrying about the rest of the world. Trying to police the world is what got us into Vietnam and Iraq, and we all know how well those turned out. I think I'll go look for a candidate that will fix America's problems.

  • First, it's USA, not America... that would include Canada, Mexico and all of Central and South America. Second, do you really think that it's not important for a presidential candidate to have international experience?  We need a president who has the ability to repair the foreign relationships that Bush has done so much to destroy over the past 7 years. That's what international experience is about, not policing the world.

  • I think we have had firsthand experience of someone in office that doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground around International Relations...Clinton, George Sr, Reagan, Ford, and Carter all had strong ability to be diplomatic with leaders of other countries...we are DESPERATE for someone that can mend our image which is vital!

  • it's a bit discouraging to see how little Richardson gets mentioned in the main stream on a daily basis. but I sincerely hope more people will get to know his accomplishments. you stack up the candidates side by side and there is simply no comparison. Richardson FTW! on the bright side it is still well over a year away. i think the grassroots will really have to come through this time.

  • As a person from Arizona I can say that what people from the border states want is a border candidate. John McCain is from Arizona and Richardson from New Mexico. Of the two, Richardson is clearly a better choice in my mind.
