In fairness to Billy Bob, a lot of bands don't make it on their "merits," and tons of dedicated musicians who've played their whole lives never "make it" at all. There's a huge element of randomness and idiocy to musical fame. Implying an actor who's always been serious about music, and is now fortunate enough to command an audience isn't a real musician is an arrogant, stupid mistake.

He did do his research, in the intro he mentioned that BBT was an actor, which obviously he is, but he wants to pretend that his band made it on it's own merits not because he was already famous, but that's super disingenuous, the only reason that band has any tours is because BBT is a famous actor.
