There is surely no more surreal experience in the world than being half way up a fucking mile high vertical cliff in the middle of nowhere in the boondocks of china on a one-foot wide wooden walkway with a chain to hold instead of a railing, and encountering some jackass with a boom box blasting techno music.

I mean the girl had to hike up there...... the hike alone is pretty dangerous she had the sense to say no...

@2704heatherwolf The rest of the hike actually wasn't too bad. You can take a gondola up to the first summit and avoid a lot of the near-vertical stairs in the first stage of the hike, which most people do. That said, this section was totally option. It doesn't even lead anywhere... just to a cliff with a shrine on it! I think some of the girls might've been playing their fears up a bit to get attention... but maybe not. A one mile drop can be pretty scary!
