even if you don't believe the world's ending in dec of 2012, go for the effects!!! the acting is cheesy at times and it is 2 and a half hours long but its still good!

I like John Cusak but his face is too comical for a serious look. The flying scene of him grabbing the dashboard of the cockpit is too disney. Why not just make this film more realistic. Like peoples bodies being torn to pieces. More on the level of natural violence but in par with "The Devils Reject" style.

You shouldn't be scared of something you can't control. If anything transpires in 2012 , I'm pretty sure it wont be half as bad as this. This movie was meant to stretch the truth. The movie is awesome and isn't scary in the least. It's humorous, thrilling and leaves you on the edge of your seat for 2 1/2 hours...

I like John Cusak but his face is too comical for a serious look. The flying scene of him grabbing the dashboard of the cockpit is too disney. Why not just make this film more realistic. Like peoples bodies being torn to pieces. More on the level of natural violence but in par with "The Devils Reject" style.

See, it's details like that that blow reviews for the Emmerich films because they're not believable. Just like in the Day After Tomorrow where they have temperature of negative five hundred degrees fahrenheit -- no such thing, because -473F is absolute zero, the temperature can go no lower. They're not believable, but still good. Going to see it.
