  • does is really work for ur acne, pores, and redness face???

  • @yanggurl14 Yep :)

  • Thanks for the video. its very informative

  • I've used the 3 step system for three days twice daily as it said

my skin type is 1 dry to very dry after three days I now have redness in my cheeks and the skin is really rough! it's burning me!

I thought this brand suppose to cause no harm or damage to the skin !

it's horrible that I paid money to get my skin burned! am really disappointed!

  • I've been using this since Februray, and I've never felt better :)

  • alcohol is the ingredient which take up dirt from ur skin, and fight those free radicals on ur skin. check it out in internet.

  • Clinique is TERRIBLE for your skin..there toner has sooo much alcohol in it that at my cosmetics department, there was some goo on a counter, and goo-be-gone didn't get it off but Clinique's toner did...have fun gettin' your face burned off in a couple of years toner users!!

  • @kathy1476 I know right?! I used to use the Green toner and it dried up my skin...However, they do have a toner that doesn't contain alcohol in it. The different colors represent different concentration of alcohol. I believe the Pink one is the one that doesn't have alcohol in it. =)

  • I've been using this for 3 weeks now. I still have acne all over my forehead. Thank goodness my bangs cover it all up. How long does it take for this system to work?

  • @poptartz999 Your bangs are probably part of the reason why your acne's still there. When you sleep make sure your bangs aren't in your face and that your hair is nice and oil free (:

  • @poptartz999 mayb that is the main reason ur even having acne on ur forehead. its the bangs. i'm 19 i suffer from acne since im 14 i've been using 3step since im 16 and it works wonders until today. soo mayb u sould make sure u do not use any chemical on ur bangs that ur skin is sensitive towards it.

  • i've been using this 3 step for my oily skin for 3 months and i still have break outs and acne :(

  • @asdfasdfasdfffffffff it takes time keep using it

  • I don't like this . I'm dry in my cheeks and sort of oily in my T zone. So I'm a 2. The soap mass me SO dry and even scaly and flaky, and it burned when I put in on. The Clarifying Lotion Shriveled me up in some areas and did nothing in others. The Dramatically different moisturizing lotion made me oily in some places. So, in the end, I was oilier in the oily spots and dryer in the dry spots.

  • @sbmtmoose12345 you should be getting #3 and not 2!!

  • @iApplefreakk I went to the Clinique counter and the person that worked there told me im a 2

  • @sbmtmoose12345 when didya buy it?? winter?? cuz sometimes they might giveya #2 just for the clarifying lotion.. but the soap it would be either oily or oily combination which are #3 or #4 ... they didn't askya if you allergic or if you get redness and all that kind of dermalogical questions?? cuz it's important to decide with which products match your condition ...

  • @iApplefreakk I'm dry combination...

and i got it a couple of weeks ago......... it wasn't the giant bottle that u get 4 the gift set

and im pretty sure they asked me

  • @sbmtmoose12345 then you should get the #1, since your skin is more to dry not oily.. i got oily combined skin.. and they gave me the #2 just for the clarifying lotion since my skin might tend to get more dry in winter.. or i would've took the #3 but the counter guy told me that weather is another factor in deciding what is good for my skin... and i quite agree with him.. hope i got the chance to help here and good luck with finding better option :)

  • where can i buy this

  • @ILYKAILEY yes... its unclearing the dry skin cells so you will have more blemishes for about a week

  • I have been using it for about a week and have less small pimples, but a few larger blemishes. Is this just the underlying acne coming up?

  • whatever u do dont get the acne-solutions version. its HOOORRIBLLEEEE im soon trying the regular version tho :)

  • i hate this stuff, it made me break out sooo bad!

  • @luvme384 In the first couple of weeks of using it it is common for you to break out it is because your skin is not yet used to the new products and because the underlying acne is coming up .. if you stay with the product it will probably help alot.

    Noa

  • @luvme384 how long did you use it?

  • this stuff WORKS :D

  • how much does it cost in singapore?? the deluxe set?

  • I've used Clinique for years. When I was a young teen, my mum introduced me to the Clarifying Lotion, which was great. Now I use the 3-Step System with the oily skin formula cleanser, Clarifying Lotion 3 (the pink stuff), and the Dramatically Different Moisturizer is of course the same for everyone. It's a fantastic system and I love it. The only thing it can't really do for me is reduce the size of some of my pores, which is a problem in my nose and mid-cheek area.

  • How long did it take you to see results for the system?

  • I just bought this and I am gonna hope that this works for me or else I don't know how else to get rid of my ugly acne =/

  • if this doesn't help try body shop's tea tree oil and blue corn mask :) those are GREAT!!!!

or.. lush's chocolate mask, or mint mask. these nice too, but personally i think body shop is better :)

  • @Heartagramerz Does it work for you? I am using it for about 4 weeks now and still hoping that one day I´ll see a difference. Will that ever happen? *pray*

  • All Acne care are the same!

For the first 2 - 3 months you will see more acne b/c it shows you that it is working.

The Acne product you using is going DEEP into your skin and bring those bad acne stuff out to the surface then from there it dies.

    Hope you get me.

Should take about 5 - 9months to get that clear skin!

Try eating lots of fruits and vegetables.

Also drink lots of water, just to let you know you will be going to the washroom a lot... but it will all be worth it.

    Good luck :P

  • Holy cow - up to 9 months? *sigh* Okay, so I keep on washing and hoping and washing. :o) Good luck to you too. Thx for your answer.

  • ok well.. not 9 months but less than that but you should keep on washing your face even if u got no acne. You never know....

  • did you get the 'acne solutions' or 'anti-blemish solutions' they are the sam product but have different names in different countries. i had like moderate/serious acne. it seriously starts clearing up in 7 days

  • I know someone who is pro with Clinique and she told me to get Acne Prone or something :P

  • it is seriously worth it! i have been using it for like 10 days and my skin already looks so much better.

  • Duh... it has something that really works.

They are not a money making company they are a helping company... unlike other acne care

  • thank you for your reply. l'm glad they're working so well for you. I'm gonna start using it tomorrow.hope it will improve my skin

  • you're lucky. l'm glad it worked for you.did you only use the 3 step skin care or you also added other products?

  • @AlexaDJL i use the acne solutons range. it does take a while to work and you porbably should modify your eating regime. but i have been using it for 3 months and my skins is a lot clearer.

  • I wanna try this...is it really good for ance skin? i have red marks...is this good?

  • There is a anti-blemish range! its really good, im using it! :)

  • that is not true. My sister works for clinique and she loves it.

  • Clinique is the best I've tried so far, and I've tried a LOT of things. The difference is that this one actually has 95% effect, while the rest did next to nothing. I love it.

  • @LotesseElfin clinique contains harsh ingredients!!

  • @0254314

I believe that is the point. You can´t achieve anything with nice-smelling water solutions the others are selling.

  • it is fantastic i could never use a moisturiser they all brake me out but with clinique i am pleased :))

  • i lovee clinique!

<3 [: nothing beats this brand!

  • Clinique Produkte sind super, vor allem meine Haut liebt sie:D

  • im in love with it hhhhhh

  • does this help for pores on the face

  • I am a big fan of the 3 step skin care nothing compares

  • can some1 tell me how much this kit is and the best place to purchase it?

    -thnx

  • go to the website by typing clinique in your search bar, that where imma get mines, I don't know what stores has it.

  • I would suggest go to the Clinique counter, and asked them on how to use this product properly so that you get the results you wanted. The reasons being that I've got sensitive, combination oily.. and I can't use the toner on my dry skin so I've to dampen my skin in order to use the toner... So if you go to the counter, she will tell you.. justr ask them.. Hope that helps..

  • i love clinique, i just bought my first 3 step kit! and my skin already feels amazing!

  • What's the song name in this cormecial?

  • The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy) by Simon & Garfunkel

  • Thankssssssss....

  • I love Clinique products;)

  • do you know agnes landau shes my mom

  • i work for clinique- the clarifying lotion may burn your face for 2 reasons- 1. because they have menthol in them to exfoliate your skin or 2. simply because you were skin typed wrong...you could be over exfoliating...dont scrub your face with the clarifying lotion...

  • i love this stuff. it works like magic. everyone could tell differences in my face after just one week!

  • Could the exfoliator be used on dryish sensitive skin?

  • the songs name is Kirsten Price - The 59th Street Bridge Song but i can´t find it on youtube :(

  • who did this great song? give me the name of the singer, i need it, i like this song

  • i love clinique's stuff. My mom mom uses it and i do too,we both love it, it soo helps ur skin

  • I think that's KT ... but i don't know instead ..

  • the singer of this song, please!!!!!!

  • I just got this 3 step system today and I am waiting to see how it will go. My only comment now is that the step 2 (exfoliator) burns your skin! I don't know if it's because it's the first time so my skin is not used to it or it's too strong for my skin but I am waiting to find out if this will make me even break out more or help me get great skin...

  • No, actually, the reason your skin is burning is because of the huge amount of alcohol. The "classic" 3-step system, while it looks cool, is quite dated. I do use some of Clinique's products, but I select them wisely. Surprisingly, the Mild Clarifying lotion contains more BHA in an effective PH than the rest of the lotions. Plus it doesn't have any alcohol! I always suggest the Mild clarifying lotion to everyone. Screw skin numbers.

  • I am also a Clinique consultant. The alcohol used in our clarifying lotions are denatured. They are not going to burn your skin. The only reason your skin will burn is because you are scrubbing. This product is designed to be used GENTLY. Alcohol is what helps remove the dead skin cells. Plus, Clinique is MADE for sensitive skins. Skin types are important for other products, not just the 3 step. I suggest making an appointment with a local consultant for more information.

  • Denatured alcohol is a form of Ethanol. It is rubbing alcohol. It is still a grain alcohol with a low molecular weight, and It is incredibly drying when present in high amounts (and 1 through 4 contain at least 35% alcohol). Denatured alcohol is also widely known to cause free-radical damage. The reason your skin will burn is because the alcohol is destroying skin cells - Not rubbing. I doubt your skin burns when you rub a plain cotton ball or pad on it.

  • Also, alcohol in itself is a very poor exfoliator. Beta Hydroxy and Alpha Hydroxy acids in Ph-correct formulations are the best for exfoliating. The PH should be at 3-3.9 to exfoliate, and not contain any healthy cell-damaging ingredients. Clarifying lotions 1-4 have a PH of 4.9 on average, which renders then incapable of exfoliating to begin with. Mild clarifying lotion, on the other hand, has a PH on average of 2.9, which makes it capable of exfoliation.

  • And finally, skin types are rarely something that we should rely on. hormonal fluctuations, changes in seasons, and stress levels can always change someone's skin type drastically. In other words, listen to your skin, not the number (or type). Everyone, no matter the skin type, should be using a gentle cleanser, an exfoliator (sans irritants of any kind) and a sunscreen. Skin care is not simple, but it certainly doesn't require >5 products to be slathered on at once.

  • the alcohol in the clarifying lotions is NOT the exfoliating ingredient. Salicylic acid an effective and well known chemical exfoliant, and acetyl glucosamine are the exfoliating ingredients. the alcohol is there as a preservative and to ensure that the exfoliating ingredients evaporate quickly from the skin. get ur facts right.

  • I have my facts right, thank you. Did you even read what I wrote? Plus, I have heard several personnel working behind the counter tell me that the alcohol is aiding in the exfoliation process—which it definitely isn't. And if we're going to get into acetyl glucosamine, lets remember there are NO peer-reviewed studies showing it has exfoliating properties. The only information about it's exfoliating properties is coming from Estee Lauder, which isn't exactly an impartial source, now is it?

  • How the alcohol aids in the exfoliation process is it transports the salicylic acid to the skins surface.Skin type has less to do with Clarifying lotion than skin strength, but you should know that since you are the expert.

  • And yet, there are many more modern delivery systems available now that don't cause cell destruction like alcohol does. While alcohol is a good skin-penetrating ingredient, it's also drying. Propylene glycol, butylene glycol, polysorbates, and glycerin are all excellent skin-penetrating ingredients that can transport ingredients into the skin.

  • Alcohol prolongs the life of a cosmetic liquid. it is in most beauty products. The only reason you can smell it is because it is 100% fragrance free for sensitive skins. There is the same amount of alcohol in a baby wipe as there is in a clarifying lotion. :-)

  • So you're saying that the solution baby wipes are soaked in have alcohol as the second ingredient and at a minimum 35% concentration? Right then.

  • Alcohol SD-40: sometimes listed as SD Alcohol 40 and synomymous with alcohol SDA-40, it is a high grade purified cosmetic alcohol. Evaporates instantly, so it is used as a vehicle to transport important ingredients to the skin's surface and then leave them there; gentler to the skin than ethyl (rubbing) alcohol. May help kill bacteria.

  • As much as Clinique goes on and on about the alcohol in clarifying lotions being 'Cosmetics grade" it's still denatured grain alcohol. It's only effective as an anti-bacterial agent in higher concentrations (70% or above, preferably). Even considering alcohols evaporative properties, it still causes irritation and is still incredibly destructive to the skins intercellular matrix.

  • dermatologists recommended.....

oooo i have it, and you should see me now!!!

  • Clinique is a REALLY good skin care line!!!

  • I got it! It's awesome!

  • yeah the song is feeling groovy

  • After watching this it made me want to get the 3 step even more! I hope it will work! I'm sort of tired of using $4 cleansers.

  • name of this song please

  • feeling groovy
