Thanks for this vid! I tried this style last yr in the summer when my locs were shorter and it came out really nice. I pin curled my locs flat to my head using Bobby pins to hold them instead of the clips & wore it out as a style. Everyone loved it and thought I went to a salon lol. The center of my curls were a golden color. I'm thinking about trying this again but the process is so long. It gave me a break from my locs just hanging.

My lox are about 5 months old and I tried these pin curls. I must say it turned out pretty cute so THANKS for the tut!! One side was tamer than the other so I had to do some flat twist to the side so I didn't look uber crazy!! I don't have vid to post but maybe I can figure out how to do a slide show with pix. But again THANKS the vid was enjoyable and easy to follow!!

GREAT info!!! i'm getting tired of the crinky look from braidouts and the big 'ole circle curls from the loc loops! this is the perfect in-between curl. now i have to go out and buy a bag of clips!

So glad you did this tutorial... hey luv..yes you can..the size and length of your dreads will determine the size of your pin curl..

and you may need to use 2 clips per curl..
