14v upgrade new battery bank & better enclosure part 1

i need to get an XSpower battery for my 1700w amp im using it for home audio but i dont know which type of XSpower battery to get any recommendations?

@subsonicFi15s An XS power D3100 will be good for 5k rms, So that would be WAY more than enough juice for your needs & keep your voltage nice and high.

all ran at 4ohm. im thining its a bad amp. cus since i first had it it ran really hot. hotter than normal even on low volume. it finally showed sign if malfunction fter a week. been sitting under my bed since lol

@Toad559 Mine is ran higher than 4ohm, Maybe it doesnt like to be that low @ such high voltage, Or maybe you are right & it was just a dud.

reason i ask is cus im too running 14v setup. it mit jus be bad luck but my 175.4recently jus took a lil crap. it play real hot when i first got it, i thought it was jus the heat. then a week later it started distorting and it sounded less loud, igain was under half. protection never came on. it still turns on fine and will play but it just sounds nasty nd gets hot. thk its a dud. i have electrical to back it plenty. was jus hooked up for the time im waiting to install my subs.

@Toad559 they love 16v, It gets alot louder & doesnt get as hot. This isnt listed in the official specs but ive been doing it myself, Kyle with the cavilier as my witness.

I am suprised i peaked at 149.1 in bassboxing with that small of an enclosure, I would guess after displacement it was close to low 4 high 3 cubic feet. I did some port math & it came out to somthing stupid like 50+ hz. I didnt play a tone all day over 40, So in the rush b4 the last show deffinatly made some errors. But this time will be differant.

dude go to the show just to show people the power of dc audio! plus it will give your subscribers more videos to show proof of what dc, mechman, and xs power can really do. also it might give you some different numbers on the term lab, maybe not but you never know. looking forward to the build man. also what mids and highs do you recommend and how much did the 175.4 cost you ? i am looking into getting one someday and kinda wanted to know lmao
