You spread conspiracy theories about Obama's "mysterious" birthplace altough he was clearly born on August 4, 1961 at Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. It's also clear, that John McCain was born on August 29, 1936 at Coco Solo Naval Air Station in the Panama Canal Zone, which was obviously not part of the USA. Does anyone know why Hawaii allowed parents and people not related to a child to apply for a birth certificate? If that is truly the case, then children could be kidnapped from any country in the world and their identities altered by taking them to Hawaii.

The State of Hawaii is not going to issue birth certificates saying you were born there if you weren't. The current issue COLB is an official birth certificate recognized by the US Supreme Court as meeting all Federsl and other requirements.

And it would be really, really silly if the only birth certificate given by Hawaii was not proof of citizenship. You may not be satisfied, but under no circumstances does that mean that under Hawaii law the COLB is not prima facie evidence.

Why has there been no federal check by Congress or other federal branch of government of the validity of the place of birth of Obama? The legal minimum proof of place of birth is the Long Form Birth Certificate. Isn't it incredible that a man can become a US President and no one validates his citizenship by DEMANDING THE L. F. B. This subject infuriates me! The issue of his birth certificate should have been taken care of - showing his citizenship or lack thereof - before he even started running for Presidency. American's have the right to know beyond the shadow of a doubt whether Obama is legally our Pres or not. Janice Okubo, from the Department of Health - "If you were born in Bali, for example, you could get a certificate from the state of Hawaii saying you were born in Bali. You could not get a certificate saying you were born in Honolulu. The state has to verify a fact like that for it to appear on the certificate."

Show me a source that shows Obama has spent even one dollar on lawyers to hide his BC. It isn't even up to Obama, has the Hawaii Department of Health has stated they only release the long form certificate to those with tangible interest, and the public does not have tangible interest. Only the courts can force the Hawaii Department of Health to release the certificate. The burden of proof is on you to show there is reasonable doubt to Obama's citizenship.

Yes. I think the law you're referring to went into effect in 1982.

§338-17.8 Certificates for children born out of State. This law was passed in 1982. It cannot apply to Barack Obama because his birth was registered in 1961. And the COLB would clearly state the Country of birth.
