Looking at this 2 years later... Still gives me goose bumps. It was hell to learn it but GAWD was it fun to sing! This was before the encore (the encore was Dry Your Tears Afrika). There's no way we could have left the room after Duel Of The Fates and the high it instilled in all of us. Moment of pride.

@PythonSnake - Thanks. We are an amateur (!) choir who feel quality is important. Of course, our MD, Patrick Brodeur, is first and foremost a musician (with a keen ear). We record all of our performances and trust me, it sounds great on CD. I wish we had filmed the entire concert. The theme was called Vox Office and we had performed 14 pieces taken from different movies. My personal favorites were Non Nobis Domine (from Henry V), Hymn To Red October (The Hunt For Red October) and this one.

Awesome crescendo from 3:03 to 3:18 . I prefer this version to the version recorded by Williams.

This one is much more dramatic than the original. It needs horns , bass and timpani punching like space cruisers. Singers in this version were also singing the accents in a very passionate way. I also have to say that we do not hear well the bell in the original, and here it is very clear. Really apocaliptic version, congratulations
