Hey If you see this message, I'm thinking of bying the TM thompson since my crappy Cyma thompson got a broken barrel.. what kind of motor does the TM Thompson have? Some websites claims it has an EG700 out of the box while other websites says EG1000. Very confusing.. and since this Tokyo Marui Thompson is a few years old now, how good are the internals? Something that might need changing if I wanna use lets say a systema high torque motor? (the short version for P90/Thompson).

100 yards is near impossible for an airsoft gun. You would have to shoot something other than a 6mm plastic projectile to reach that distance w/ the power of a mere airsoft gun.

Really, your best airsoft guns will shoot around 200ft or so. Anything beyond starts to drop or change direction.

The best sniper rifles I have seen MIGHT have reached close to 300ft, but it was not guaranteed every shot. Your shots are most effective within 50 - 100 feet, which is still good range for airsofting!
