Wow, this was so emotional... just like back then. I saw it many years ago in an ARTE animated shorts program and it was simply haunting. Today I remembered and fortunately, my sister remembered the name.

Thank you for posting this! I watched the film at a CG festival back in '99 or '00 and it really stuck in my mind. The other day it suddenly popped back up, I recalled the name of the film and found it here -- just as magical and hypnotizing as it was back then. Cheers!

Ce court métrage m'avait bouleversée à l'époque (vu à Annecy). Félicitations pour cette oeuvre vraiment touchante.
