  • Where were your dogs bred?

  • My Lundehund Stella doesn't care for the hose, but she loves kayaking and swimming in the ocean. I'll post a video of her on the kayak soon.

  • they look almost fox-like.

  • their awesome but hard to potty train.

  • they're difficult to find in the US... are you a breeder???

  • I am not a breeder I recommend looking at the NLAA website for breeder information. the lundehund is not for every one

  • i hear they have six toes

  • true they do

  • I have seen some with as many as 8 toes.. a show dog is expected to have ATLEAST 6 toes on every foot.

  • i heard theres only 1500 left o.o

  • well it's not like they are dying out, they are coming back...they are just rare

  • sweet! i now absolutly love that breed!

  • only 250 left? Then this family has about 150 of them! LOL!!!

  • their are roughly 1500-200 wold wide, they are on an increase , however there is a very small genepool and it is very unlikely there will ever be very many of them.

  • haha our pitbull does this

  • my dog bites at the water like that as well!

  • i love there bark! scientist say only 250 left!

  • in theus buttheres over 1,000 in the world

  • according to the acrticle off PawNation it was 250 in the United States and 1500 in the world (purebreed, I assume).

  • 250 in America

  • isnt it true that the lundehund is the rarest dog breed in the world?

apparentally they can spin their heads 180 degress around and they have six toes :O

  • They can spread their legs to 90 degrees of their bodies, and can touch their heads to their back, see my other videos for the neck bend and their rotarty gait which is a by product of their flexible legs

  • Hey!!!! thats wher i got the link from this video!!! my mom said we can get a dog and i want one of these!!

  • Thanks for sharing it. My sisters Australian shepherd loves to play with the hose too!!

  • this is featured on aol!!!

  • Man God bless the people who wrote th article. If I didn't see it I never would have seen this or known how rare these cute puppies are. I want one if I move out of the city. =]

  • Me, too! Great videos.

  • My dog does that. Eats water.

    I want a lundehund! Sounds awesome! =)

  • did it occur to anyone that maybe the dogs were thirsty.

  • You can tell that these people care about these dogs,so I'm pretty sure bowls of water are nearby. This is called fun time...not tease the thristy dogs time.

  • Thats flippin hilarious!!!

How come you have so many?

How many walks and how long do they require each day?

  • this is an annual event where alot of local owners get together. i believe there were 40 dogs or so this year. the ranch were the event takes place has 16 dogs. It was a farm so there is plenty of space for them to run and play

  • ok thanks for reply :)

  • hahaha. good movie. i also have a norsk lundehund, they are just so sweet

  • Where do you get these dogs? I can't find any breeders!! They are AMAZING dogs!

  • Wow. Just listen to the awesome sound of all those clapping jaws!

  • Wow so funny, NL are one of the rarest breeds are they not?

Is it true that they have an uncanny flexability and that they have 6 toes...AWSOME!

  • This must be the nicest dogs in the world :)

  • This is sooooooooooooooo funny.

the kids are almost as funny as the dogs!!

    thanks for sharing
