Agnostic is more of a neutral view on religion, particularly God, where you don't try to disprove God's existence, but you do not exactly belive in it, in other words being agnostic means you're basically a skeptic, where as Atheism is a declared disbelief in God.

Well I don't know about that guy, but I personally was raised as a Catholic. Went to church all the time. A "God" creating some vast universe in 7 days? Come on. And if "He" was really that powerful, he wouldn't have allowed the end of the world to be such a plague. Instead of signs showing the world will end. "He" should have made signs suggesting the peak of the worlds existence. The height of the glory mankind could create. Not some Armageddon shit. What kind of "God" allows that?
When I first heard this song it was playing in a human video that was about a boy who was addicted to pornograpy. So when I hear it I think about a desperate person speaking out in faith and telling the mountain in his life (porn or whatever it is) to throw itself into the sea. So, with that in mind, its almost like the parts where he is saying "its alright you got a bad lens in your eye" it makes me think of the devil tempting someone to sin. Just my thoughts on the song personally.
No one is straight and no one is perfect throw your self into the sea to be cleansed of your sins. No one can judge you for your wrongs or right its the Lord who will judge you.

it's about percieving yourself to be a failure: how some make excuses and others break down and need consoling. It also says that God isn't going to help you with it at all, and that you'll have to do it yourself. If you're not up to the task, just throw yourself into the sea....straight into the fray and fight or die. that's what i think anyway
I'm pretty sure its about falling short in God's standards. Everybody sins, and therefore deserves to go to hell, but jesus died for those sins. All you have to do is believe it to go heaven.

"He" should have made signs suggesting the peak of the worlds existence. The height of the glory mankind could create. Not some Armageddon shit. What kind of "God" allows that?

When I first heard this song it was playing in a human video that was about a boy who was addicted to pornograpy. So when I hear it I think about a desperate person speaking out in faith and telling the mountain in his life (porn or whatever it is) to throw itself into the sea. So, with that in mind, its almost like the parts where he is saying "its alright you got a bad lens in your eye" it makes me think of the devil tempting someone to sin. Just my thoughts on the song personally.

No one is straight and no one is perfect throw your self into the sea to be cleansed of your sins. No one can judge you for your wrongs or right its the Lord who will judge you.
Luke 17: 1-3

Thats true it isn't as profitable, thats why its more hidden like in this song. Just cuz its not as profitable it doesn't mean they never reflect their beliefs in their songs in one way or another.

it's about percieving yourself to be a failure: how some make excuses and others break down and need consoling. It also says that God isn't going to help you with it at all, and that you'll have to do it yourself. If you're not up to the task, just throw yourself into the sea....straight into the fray and fight or die. that's what i think anyway

I'm pretty sure its about falling short in God's standards. Everybody sins, and therefore deserves to go to hell, but jesus died for those sins. All you have to do is believe it to go heaven.
