It is single precision. LB algorithms are not as demanding as traditional approaches with respect to the precision of the finite number presentation. LB are especially well suited for single precision simulations and even for complex problems they can produce very accurate results.
I'd highly doubt it's double precision running that "fluidly", lol, on today's hardware.... unless of course it's running on a supercomputer or cluster.
