It's easy to take things out of context. The laws of the OT were for Israel and were for times long ago, under different circumstances than we have today. Strict laws were to help prevent lawlessness. Today, many of our judges mock our laws and override the will of the people. This leads to lawlessness. A literal translation of Job 26:10 is “He described a circle upon the face of the waters, until the day and night come to an end.” A spherical earth is also described in Isaiah 40:21-22—“the circle of the earth.”

It's easy to take things out of context. The laws of the OT were for Israel and were for times long ago, under different circumstances than we have today. Strict laws were to help prevent lawlessness. Today, many of our judges mock our laws and override the will of the people. This leads to lawlessness. @The1VoiceOfReason no it does not! In the Old Testament, Job 26:7 explains that the earth is suspended in space, the obvious comparison being with the spherical sun and moon. A literal translation of Job 26:10 is “He described a circle upon the face of the waters, until the day and night come to an end.” A spherical earth is also described in Isaiah 40:21-22—“the circle of the earth.”
Note, the Biblical Hebrew word for “circle” (חוג—chuwg) can also mean “round” or “sphere.”

Christianity...is the belief in Jesus Christ and his teachings. many different varieties are out there to be sure. however, most "churches" dont teach like they are supposed to. alot of them have interpreted the scriptures in different ways. if you dont follow the teachings correctly I believe you cant be considered a true christian. you can claim to be anything, but that doesnt mean that you trully are what you say or think you are.

@Soveraine A Christian is one who believes in Jesus Christ and has been born again by accepting God's free gift of salvation and strives to be "Christ like". Satan is the opposite of Christ or Anti-Christ so in reality you would be an "Anti-Christian" so to speak. I couldn't imagine why one would choose to serve Satan knowing what the Bible says will be the outcome.
