Know what I'm thinking...... I'm thinking this is going to be the Subaru version of the FT-86! What give's me that idea is that if you look closely it looks like its 4WD! You can really see this at 0:39 when the car is doing what looks like a 4WD Drift! And to top it off they have the car doing Rally in Gravel and Snow which added to my suspicions. Also at 1:20 secs they show the FT-86 in Subaru's Rally car Blue. So over all this is probably going to be Subaru's moddel for the FT-86. :)

The first concept looked sooooo much better. Moving the A pillars backwards killed the swoopy profile it used to have and those leds are so tacky ... The design language needs a little more functionality and a little less rice.

It was codeveloped with Subaru and will and the 4 banger that is in the WRX STI. I read that it will more than likely be badged as a Scion here. Subaru is planning to release a similar car shorlty after this one is released. Its an exciting time for motorsports.

Looks like we are going to see the Version II FT-86 in GT5, if this video is anything to go buy (track footage is all from GT5 engine). It sure would be nice to have some DLC in GT5. If this is the first DLC car, I will be first in line to pick it up. Not very many companies are going the lightweight RWD sportscar route, and it's too bad. It's a great formula.

But here in canada there is not much of a market for this genre of car which is sad. We have the genesis but because of the market, we probably wont get the FT :(
