@1234pwnd Hi, I use a dense polystyrene, the same used in billboard signage. It is pretty tough and handles damage just as well as high density foam (blue/pink foam). I find it easier to work with than high density foam - sculpts more easily, holds paint and glue better, and it is cheaper and easier to find ;)
I think it came out VERY well. As for the size of the mountain. I think if it's a "mountain" it needs to be a bit bigger for scale sake. Grrrrrreat! JOB
Looks awesome! I like the modularity of the terrain pieces. Great how you show each piece in detail too, esp. the catches holding the board together. Very informative.
Can the top part of the waterfall be used as a separate terrain piece? It kinda looks like it has pegs to slot into the rest of the mountain.
I have a feeling your next project will surpass even this one ;)
@delryn256 The waterfall is a standalone piece, but you can alternate which end of the river it sits on, or you can leave it off the board entirely for a bit more space if you need to.
I have a few projects in the works, i'll be posting some videos up soon :)
Absolutely astounding man! How cool are those changeable pieces! And gorgeous looking texturing and paint job! Really well done hope the customers have a lot of fun with it!
I wouldnt mind seeing some models on the board.
