  • Lovely broken down version

  • Nice :) I kept replaying it.

  • i saw them in heidelberg

they re a great live band

  • dont know this band but i cant stop to listen this song, good job guys

  • Watch Trail of Dead perfrom "Isis Uveiled" exclusively on my channel!

  • Watch an exclusive interview with Trail of Dead's Conrad Keely on our profile!

  • Nice!

    Bella versione, grande band!

  • Uma das melhores bandas dos últimos anos. Amazing....

  • I really hope to see you play this song live once before i die!

  • heartbreaking song! never heard it live, but i'm hoping they'll play it tonight in brussels.

  • I think i like this version better than the actual album version. Shoot me down.

  • a beautiful song whether accompanied by the full band or not

  • The tab is on ultimate-guitar.kom

  • Dammit cant find any decent tabs of this... whats the tuning?

  • drop d

  • You know it sounds like shit if you don't kow how to play it right, and you clearly don't. So why give bad information to this poor sod who wants an honest answer? People like you make the world inefficient. IT'S NOT DROP D YOU AMATEUR. Save that tuning for your Jimmy Eat World poser covers. SEE BELOW...

  • lol i know

  • drop d? ur an idiot i hate ppl like u!!!

  • Drop C... tuning is: eb, Bb, G, C, G, C. Figure it out from there I can hardly tab it for you here.

  • Thanks for the tuning mate, just figured the song out now.

Conrad does seem to love his alt. tunings (no doubt an influence from Sonic Youth). I seem to remember coming across a site a few years ago where he revealed some of them and Totally Natural was in a pretty crazy tuning!

  • wheres the drums????much better on the record

  • Who cares about the lack of drums, all this song needs is the beautiful guitar tab. I love the record version dont get me wrong, but this is still the shit.

  • notice the "man" in the smoke, to the right at 2.45. For just a brief second, the cigarette smoke takes shape of a man.

  • makes me sad

  • This is one of my favourite songs ever. Its just a work of genius.

  • haha he fucks up at 02:51

  • Yeah, it happens when you give humans guitars...

    Who gives a shit?

  • I love this song and this album, but is there anything from their earlier noisier stuff on youtube, I can't find any if there is

  • source tags is one of the best albs i have ever heard period.

  • I saw them on a festival and they played one song that sounded so familiar! It was a great song and I want to find it but I can't....

  • I saw them once in East Lansing Michigan in 2003, they we one of four bands to play, they played last and one other band droped out. They were suppose to play 30minutes but since another band cancelled we thought they might play an hour. They played TWO AND A HALF HOURS, wreck the drum set half way through and kicked over some lights into the crowd onto my friend JD, but Conrad grabbed them at the last second and said, "you werent expecting that were you, neither was I, LETS DO IT AGAIN!"

  • I agree with you, the last 2 outputs are nowhere as good as ST&C is !!

  • Source Tags is their best album by far, every song is a master piece, the best (for me) being how near how far, and fuck the beatlesque shit we should all attribute all modern good music(the small amount there is) to influence from the velvets, eno/bowie, and sonic youth.

  • that's why i love you...

  • First album is the best. I'm willing to fight any who beg to differ.

  • come on then...

  • they seem pretty stoned. haha. i wish i could seem them and they just play source tags and codes straight through. id pay good money for that.

  • Haha, sonic mess only for nearly-deaf listeners

  • source codes and tags was the best, followed by worlds apart then madonna

  • youre an idiot

  • Source Tags and Codes was a horrible sonic mess of an album. Worlds Apart was great. So Divided was a Beatlesque masterpiece.

  • So Divided is an underrated soon to be classic among Trail Of Dead fans. Source Tags is brilliant too.

  • agreed.. the most perfect album I know of, anyway.

  • Source Tags & Codes is perfect

  • LUVIT

  • where the hell are the drums?

  • I can see some validity in some of the below comments, but the Source Tags album is a great journey start to finish. I've seen them live and yeah, some songs are terrible live (relative ways), some great. This song is usually the best, same with Will You Smile Again, but good luck finding a good quality live version on Ytube.

  • lol Trail of Dead = TOD. Awesome band!

  • beautiful !

  • best song on that shitty album by far

  • awesome band, shame they sound a bit dodgy live, they should try playing whilst sobre for once lol

  • Uma das melhores bandas dos últimos anos. Amazing....

  • TOD's songs are so erratic in terms of goodness, they're either awful or amazing. Everyone says this whole album is great, I disagree. It has some terrible songs on it, and some amazing ones too. The presence of a few great songs scattered through the album doesn't make the whole album great.

  • Brilliant! Sonds like a Smashing Pumpkins song!!!

I saw them in Cologne a few days ago!

  • Like a Smashing Pumpkins song? That isn't very nice.

  • this is one of my favourites on source, tags& codes

  • I saw them 2days ago and they played the fast version of this song.

  • is there any other video of this song? i love it!

  • i wonder what guitar it is he's playing

  • its a gretsch electromatic jet

    a cheap asian made guitar

    hes endorsed by them

he told my friend on AIM that he´d play Les Pauls if Gibson would have given him as good a deal

  • the machine gun drumming is seriously missing here. great song tho. ive seen them twice but they never did it live unfortunately.

  • One of the best albums right up there with Bake Sale by Sebadoh & You's Prefer An Astronaut...

  • One of the best albums right up there with Bake Sale by Sebadoh, and You'd Prefer An Astronaut by Hum....

  • hum wasn't even "great" .. they were so great as to surpass the earthly realm. they were GOD!

  • I apologize for taking so long to get bk to u, I ve been drunk rofl...I agree = )~

  • what album is this song on?

  • Source Tags And Codes, great album.

  • Corad's sister is my BBF/ex!

  • Conrad Keely is my half-brother!

  • that'd make me your half-father

  • There are so many fillings! Just perfect!

I was trying to play this on gitar and it was not easy. Strange tuning here...

  • Beautiful.

  • My favourite TOD song, every note is perfect.

  • these guys are good live
