1:14 reminds me of Santa Fe, New Mexico! No wonder the Spanish liked settling in the US Southwest...the landscapes are almost the same! Except we have a more Jewish/Christian heritage then Moorish.
Asturias is part of Celtic Spain (Celts were originally from the Alps & they spread throughout parts of western Europe) the Moors never conquered Asturias or Galicia. The climate is closer to Washington State than the S. W. & they are the major apple producers of Spain (no olives here, too rainy & cool). Bagpipes are a major feature of the music there as well although the music still sounds Spanish & incorporates guitars & castanets as well.

I've not been to New Mexico, but I presume its landscape is similar to Arizona's, which I've seen a few times .
Comparing the landscape of Asturias with New Mexico, to me it sounds like comparing Ireland with Morocco, or New Jersey with Southern California .
Funny the preconception that persists in the US that everything that has to do with Spain can only mean: dry climate, guitar music, Mexican food,
There are many different places in Spain, including those similar to the Southern USA .
