  • saw the band in London in the early 90,s several times in small venues , they were very good and different even special like Royal Trux at the time.

    regards

    jimmy

  • Steven is very enthusiastic about the bass. He's also in a new band called Off! with Keith Morris from Black Flag.

  • Why do they look like that? lol. Any reason for that? Like some kind of reference to something?

Great band and great song though.

  • Why do they look like that? lol

  • completly forgot about these. top tune.

  • I remember an RK interview I had in a magazine a long time ago haha:

Interviewer: "So which one of you is Sonny and which one is Cher?"

    Jeff Mcdonald: "We're both Cher!"

No shit... best insane and mixed up band ever!

  • Genius.......

  • Best Punk Band that ever EXISTED! why can't others understand that AFI isn't the only solution to finding music, or in fact, the only alternative? That band isn't nearly as good as this. Well, in their findings, I guess that's why they have to call it alternative music, because that's their alternative if they can't find great music such as this! lol

  • "Third eye" is a masterpiece...its still spinning on record player!!

  • Not a bad song at all! Only decided to give this a listen, since I watched Shonen Knife's tribute song to them.

  • Completely Rockin!

  • I miss these good times

  • I can't believe this is out of print!

  • When I first heard them, I was like wtf, fucking weirdos. Then I came back a month later in love.

  • They look ridiculous, but when you hear them you can't help but love it. I mean what is with the long ass hair?

  • Sweet ghost of Mary Travers!!!! Methinks Jeff has got it! Steven & Robert are pretty cool too. Greatest American band of all time!

  • Hecker RULES, man. I saw them at First Ave in Mpls back in the 80's or something, and he was out there, huge package in gold spandex pants. Amazing guitarist--and huh? world-class sprinter.

  • This is one of my favorite songs. YES

  • kickass!!!!!!!

  • I just love early 90s music

  • love it. so good.

  • is that Ann Magnuson...?

  • @OrangeSFO Yes.

  • best, and most underrated, song ever (Next to "Bublegum Factory"). Victor Indrozzo's drumming on this is amazing - no wonder out of everybody in this line up he has gone the furthest. Steve is next in line with his bass playing. Without the musicians throughout the years Jeff would be nothing more than a girl band geek hanging out with the other GBG's.

  • hugely underrated band

  • this band is class

  • hahah they are totally makin fun of pop culture in this, see the way Steve, the bassist, dances 'Axl Roses coked up shuck and jive dance' at 2:37 hahaha

    they totally fucking rock.

  • 1976

  • Good stuff!! Don't want to offend anyone here but I hear a little Enuff z'Nnuff. They were actually very good IMO.. but I've gotten new respect for these guys!!

  • Awesome

  • The best.

  • these guys are the best. Great in 1976, buy it, it is worth it. Love this song.

  • Thank you for posting this! This video is hard to find elsewhere on the net.

  • Thanks for posting this!!!!! This video is so hard to find elsewhere on the net.

  • This, Jellyfish's "That Is Why", and Material Issue's "Valerie Loves Me" were a trinity of neo-psychedlic pop in the 1990-91 corridor. Good stuff. :)

  • How Sonic Youth sold more records than Redd Kross is a complete mystery to me. Don't people appreciate fun?

  • i can't believe i'm hearing this song right now! it's been so long. i used to own this record, lost it, and could never find it again! i love this song so much! reminds of high school and my friends from - was this from '89 or '90?

  • This band has beautiful hair.

  • robert is my science teacher!!!! NO JOKE!!!

  • Wow, I always loved the song, but I was too broke for cable back in the day; so I never saw the video.....Maybe that's a good thing?

  • The Bassist looks like a girl I knew in high school. The lead singer looks a little like Courtney Cox Arquette.

  • I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS IN YEARS!!!! It sounds way different now that I'm a sober adult but it's so cool!!

  • love em, but definitely you feel like they really love their straight hair in this vid

  • I'm a huge huge fan, but yeah, it's like a Pantene commercial.

  • It' really beautiful hair, isn't it? It's like hair commercial hair.

  • and you sorta love their hair also.

  • Yeah, baby, yeah...

Oh, come to Boston for fuck's sake!!!

  • Awesome, thank you. I've been looking for this. I bet you've played your Carvin doubleneck along to this video, haven't you, KevioSolo? Haven't you!

  • I'm gonna miss Annie.....

  • Brilliant!

    Thanks Kevio.

3rd Eye, maybe their best album as it's the last "quirky" offering.

Is that Vic Indrizzo playing drums?

I could watch Redd Kross all day. Jeff for President!

  • The Redd Kross website said they have been working on a new album, like a year ago. Anybody hear anything? Cant wait much longer!!!

  • H.R Puffenstuff or New Zoo Review.. It's somewhere in between there..

  • Hmmmm.. I love this song and have been searching for the 3rd eye CD since mine was stolen from my car years ago. This video though - I don't know.....

  • i bought a copy on ebay a couple of months ago

  • Lucky for you it was reissued (Third Eye) last Summer!

  • Now, if someone would just post "1976"...

  • Hey - thanks for posting this video. I haven't seen or heard the song for years. It sounds as good as it did back then.

  • Thank You!!!!!

I knew it would turn up sooner or later on here. Good things come to those who wait!
