@mbfanpaqe It is called *American Thunder* now. SFSL woke up and discovered the 1970's flashback fad was done and over three years before they opened this coaster. So time for a name/theme change....oops.....economy in the toilet....can't afford to change both. Keep the red, white, and blue and rebrand it patriotic.

@degrassipanther Common misconception, roller coasters are very safe. The wood and bolts are checked every morning. Breakdowns happen but they don't happen often and are mostly 10-20 minutes. There are only a handful of injuries on roller coasters.

this was my first coaster ever as well. It was last Friday on my Senior class trip. hahah. I was SCARED TO DEATH of roller coasters when I rode this.

It wasn't too bad though..I mean i survived. it, at least. lol.

But going down the hills is what got to me. =/ I've never had that kind of intensity. It was definately quite the experience though.

When I rode that and got off, a few of my friends still needed 2 ride and when we were waiting for them after they got offf, they said Vanessa Hudgens was on the ride w/ them, so we got off and waitd for her and she walkd past us and we said hi n stuff she waved, even though I think she's an overrated slut, it was still cool!

Ok, just to clear up a couple of these ridiculous comments, this ride rocks hard core compared to the ZERO airtime, or laterals on Screamin Eagle. if you think it's crap then you know crap.

Second of all, Cedar Point only has 17 coasters, not 20. Cedar Point has the most coasters, but quantity does not mean quality. Cedar Point needs a ride like Evel Kneivel very badly. You can't compare CP to Six Flags anyways.

I worked on Evel Knievel over the summer and the crew and I agree that the exit line is long. But considering where it was built, you couldn't get a short exit line. Just be thankful its not like batman's entrance line when they close off the short paths. That is a pain in the ass.

i rode this last week. and i agree the batman is the best in the park. i do think mr freeze is pretty sweet tho. u havent been 2 an amusement park till uve been to cedar point in sandusky ohio! its a kick ass park with the most coasters. around 20 coasters!!!!!!!

The Boss is better than Evel Knievel's ride, but this ride is a very close second. This one's smoother, but The Boss is way longer. Anyways,

This ride.. WAS AWESOME!! I could of rode it over and over and over and over and over and over again and I would of never got sick of it :D

The Batman is the best ride out of the entire park though. :D

That one was okay. On some parts, you had to put your hands down if they were up because you were afraid you would hit them on the support beams. I prefer Mr. Freeze.
