Prey grow at a constant rate alpha, giving birth to new preys in their neighborhood. (Neighborhoods are either Moore or von Neumann.) If predator is in the neighborhood of prey, then with a probability beta, the prey will convert into a predator. If the predator does not have any prey to feed upon, then the predator will die with a probability gamma.
it's an interesting CA, i plan to play with CAs too and add external forces, that can add or remove or push around the predators or preys. Those could be episodic or constant events.
