  • Quick, concise and to the point, thanks for posting!

  • Thanks man................this helped A LOT

  • Thanks jawsykilla! Although this video is 2 1/2 years old, the information here still works perfectly! The only change I encountered is instead of cd /media/cdrom0, it is now cd /media/VBOXADDITIONS_X.X.X_XXXXX (The Xs being whatever version you are running. For instance, the version I'm running is 4.1_4.1.8-75467.)

  • OH SNAP. IMA FIND WHERE U AT WITH THAT BLACKBIRD AND GIVE U A BIG HUG(no homo)FOR HELPING ME!

  • Well done ! A nice tutorial.

  • @jawsykilla i thought the wall paper was a leef

  • its asking me for my sudo password.. but i cant write any password... any clue what i should do? thx ?!

  • @jimmybobdavis It may look like your not typing anything but you actually are. This is your admin password. Probably your account password. Just type it and press enter. It doesn't display what you are typing for security purposes.

  • IT WORKED!!!! BTW if it says not such file found or whatever, replace cdrom0 with VBOXADDITIONS_3.2.6_63112 so it would be:

    cd /media/VBOXADDITIONS_3.2.6_63112

worked for me, hope it works for you!

  • @interactive00 ooh my bad it doesnt have to be those exact numbers just watever the numbers in your filename are, something like VBOXADDITIONS_something

  • it doesn't work it i typed in exacly as you did and it told me no such file or directory help i saw this other video and he did it diffrently and it didn't work for me either i need help some what do i do?

  • Is there anyway to full screen in windows?

  • @Xuma This is in windows. But if you mean windows in virtualbox then yes. Go to devices >> Install Guest Additions then simply run the cd on the virtual windows as if it were a physical cd and it should guide you through a setup.

  • can u please help when u double clip on the cd a folder opens... then u said to pick one of 2 of the .run files in 0.35 -0.38 in the video..i did then the terminal runs and says ' this program must be run with administrator privileges. aborting '

    please help me ill appreciated

  • @darrengerardo Yeah you dont double click the packages inside of the cd. Just simply determine which one you want then use the commands i then use in terminal. Because when i enter terminal i use the command sudo which gives you admin privileges when executing a command. So just follow the video all the way through.
