Had we let those banks fail, we'd be reliving the Great Depression; perhaps on a grander scale. My problem with the bailouts wasn't that they were made but the lack of stipulations included in them. Fortunately, we have the Federal Reserve which is the only thing we have to regulate them if they step out of line.
