  • Just like manual

  • @Kaipeternicolas it's not in automatic mode you have to switch gears in this setting

  • it does not mess up the clutch, not at all. the only stress applied to the clutch is in the second that it engages. But because the engine is not so high revved in the moment of engaging , there's little stress applied. Only the tires take the beating. Imagine a manual M6 , rev it up to 8250 rpm and then release the clutch , that's stress.

  • This is Real M Power

  • GREAT view buddy!

  • why do M owners do launch control?! it messes up the clutch badly ...

  • cause launch control is fun.

havent used it in my m5 yet cause iv only driven it once.

but when i had my G i launched it all the time

  • yeahhhh all the time ;);) you can use the launch control system for 10 maybe 15 times, after that you have to change your gearbox !

  • LOL no u dont

  • too much wheel spin at launch.

  • Offcourse it has (too) much wheelspin at launch, the driver had switched off his traction control (DSC)

  • I meant it would be faster if he didn't speed the wheels so much, but thanks for the info.

  • yeah i think so to but that all depends on the the driver

  • Nice car from one of dealerships. You should take the BMW badge out of the key. :)

  • Now you spoiled all his attempts to impress Internet loosers.

  • nice

  • You don´t need to shift with the launch control! It works automatically ;-)

    kai

  • good point!!!!!
