  • What was the location?

  • I wonder if John got his routine from Mr Bean?

  • Only Robin Williams is funnier than John, love the stand up comedy for kids. Would of loved to of been there in the day.

If Play School was picked up in America, Robin Williams would make a great presenter, I wonder who we could pair him up with?

  • Does anyone know the year this episode was first broadcast? with the credits cut off, it's hard to tell. Thanks.

  • @fordfalcon85 It aired in 1989 :)

  • No but I can c y u would think that- Trisha makes shakers from bottles with rice in them or something then sings shake (if u feel u want to) then turns to Simon who sings Jump with a percussionist playing a timpani in the background then Trisha joining him til the end of the episode- it also features the Ning nang Ning animation. It was last shown in 1995....

  • @MegaDave142 Have no memory of seeing it, but I do remember watching a similar episode with Benita, George and some percussionist, it also had the Ning Nang Nong in it :) Around 1996 or 1997 it was aired :)

  • Ahahahha at the kids faces at 2:19! :D

  • Thanks for uploading this one, been looking for it for years! I can remember I saw it twice years ago when the old episodes were repeated a lot on ABC, but haven't seen it since. Great memories of John running late for the concert and hitching a ride on a tractor!

  • Mate your videos r fantastic and youve obviously saved alot of 80s n 90s episodes over the years, do u happen 2 have the episode with Simon, Trisha, Warren and some other musicians from the 1989-1990 era? with all due respect do u no which one im talking about?

  • @MegaDave142 Is that Play School Meets the Orchestra? I remember that one too :)

  • This must have been the longest window segment in a single episode of Play School ever.

I was having trouble remembering if I've seen this episode or not. But the moment when Benita and John climb into the back of the van jolted my memory.

It's incredible the fact that the last time I would have seen this episode repeated on TV, some of the people who I know now wouldn't have even been born.
