  • 2:11 Why is it no one takes me seriously unless I'm joking?

    Amen sister!

  • For Arachne, just remember POABBABW. Pissed Off Athena By Being A Better Weaver.

  • I liked Cassandra's method of learning names. I wish I had thought of it when I was studying Ancient Greece and Rome at University. It would have made revision more fun. Another way would have been to use pnemonics like the rainbow one. I just thought of one for Achilles the hero of the Iliad.

A Cursed Heel Is Little Life's End. Shame.

  • "rather they like it or not"? I wish sleep worked that way with me, i can never sleep and especially tonight(it's5 am and i never went to bed) is particularly hard for him to put me asleep because I learned what the "pale man" (from pan's labyrinth)was earlier

  • i watched this 6 times in a row

  • Cool Athena

  • I love Ibid, the owl of Athena!

  • I just love watching these movies

  • @jasminebot98 me too!!!!!!!!

  • LOL laurel league colleges hahahahaha

  • awwwwwww phil gave him his doll :3

  • Hypnos is the personification of sleep whle Morpheus is the god of dreams... Just thought I'd say. Kinda like how Thantos IS death. :D

  • i like cassandra cuz she has the same name and hair as me XD we have differ noses though

  • "as we make a beautiful music together" idk what movie that's from, but i like that they put it in XD love icarus

  • Hypnos was the Primordial god of sleep, with his twin Thanatos, god of death, and he was married to Nyx, goddess of the night. He was the father of Morpheus, god of sleep and dreams.

  • Icarus LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow. If people do crazy things when they're in love, then Icarus is a psychopath. . . he's awesome! XD

  • 3:15! How cool that the writers worked in her full curse a bit better. Cass was blessed with the ability to see the future, but the curse was that she would always speak the truth and never be believed. Geek high five writers!

  • I thought Hypnos was the god of sleep? O-o He's the twin of the god of death, Thanatos.

  • I think Morpheus is the Roman god of sleep. They've fucked that kind of thing up before. (Bacchus/Dionysus)

  • I looked on Wiki and it says Morpheus is the Greek god of dreams and the son of Hypnos. I guess they still fucked it up though. xP

  • @NoirRaven Yep that and (Cupid/Eros) Cupid is Roman name

  • @NoirRaven Also, they use roman numbers and the greek name of Hercules is Heracles.... Hera was not his mother, but rather his nemesis as she wanted to revenge Zeus' betrayals by punishing Heracles, the Elysian fields were part of the Domain of Hades.

You just have to accepted as part of the fabric of the show, sit back and enjoy!

  • @LittleMissBeth7 this is true, but you just kind of have to let it go and enjoy the show :)

  • "ICARAUS WAKE UP!!!!!"

  • "Energy go bye-bye. Icky sleep now."

    "ICARUS WAKE UP!"

Lol Hercules and Icarus are so awesome!

  • my, Herc's snoring is really BAD!! i wonder how Phil can stand it.. and this "please please please with sugar on top" part is just adorable ^_^

  • Wow Cassandra has great teaching tips O_O That was really ingenious, actually ;D

  • whmac? what kind of a word is whmac?

i laughed so hard at that!!

  • i love icarus

  • French Stewart, the guy from Third Rock From The Sun.

  • Cassandra was DEFINITELY mentioned in Greek mythology! ;) She is an indeed important figure, as well.

  • Yeah, didn't she predict the Trojan Horse deal?

  • icarus is crazy.

  • was Cassandra ever mentioned in Greek mythology?

  • Sigh....yes she was.Check out the Greek myth sites on Google, she's a very important figure and mentioned in many famous writings.

  • Hey could you load up another video of this, because my computer is not uploading it.

  • "birthdays...underwear..." Icarus is my favourite Character ever!

  • that milk bubble thing was gross.

  • Huh they got that wrong Morpheus is the god of dreams his father Hypnos is the god of sleep X3 ~Ryu-Kun~

  • actually, Hypnos is the god of nightmares from what I heard. But some legends are just so twisted. X(

  • @ChrisTheGreek2007 Well this series isn't known for its historical accuracy. Besides, in this series, Morpheus is named God of Sleep, and his younger brother Phantasos is named God of Dreams. (see episode "Long Nightmare").

  • Comment removed

  • @ChrisTheGreek2007 he can cause nightmares thats a type of dream

  • yeah, funny how popular culture changes things around.....the actual god of death was not Hades, it was Thantopsis, I believe. But the 4 year olds this show was made for werent gonna know the difference!!!

  • I thought the God of death was Thanatos, son of Nyx and Erebos? I'm not sure about this, but in Class of the Titans, another Greek Mythology show, he was said to be under the 'employment' of Hades :D

  • I think you are right. But Greek mythology is extremely ancient, complex and layered, and the details are tough to unravel. {I have never been able to understand the difference between Helios and Apollo.} For the mainstream, and especially for a kids show, Hades is the lord of the dead/Underworld.

  • ah, but you forget the difference between Death and Underworld! Hades is the afterlife host, Thanatos provides the guests ;D

Helios is the all-seeing heaven god/titan, and Apollo the god of the sun, music and faith!

  • @0AslanRyuu0

not everything is right in this show. in one episode the world is flat. its not an educational show. its like the Flintstones.
