People make videos of WoW deletion to let go mentally, after you pour 2+ years of your life into a video game building a character, it's hard to walk away. A big part of letting go is making the video, because in their mind, it's final. 

WoW has a way of always drawing people back in...the only real way to recover is scramble your password, delete all your gear, bank items and gold, then cancel your account and change your login/password to something you'll never remember.
