  • Hi doncambellequipment,

That is one hell of a sandbox! LOL!

Brilliant models as usual. With some 'distressed' painting details, and different camera angle so all that can be seen is the drag-lines and the sandpit, it would be next to impossible to say if they were 'real' or not?

Is this a fixed home for these small, but even so pretty huge on a human scale, drag-lines? Because if so it most be a haven for the local schools? I could be in there all day long!

    Take care

  • я б на такой игрушке целыми днями б зависал.BEST of THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he needs one of the big muskie that would be awsome

  • That is the most impressive toy i have ever ever seen!!. Fantastic.

  • BigDan45322: Call Jim Brennan @ 814-443-3882. You'll need to leave a message, and he'll get back in a week or two. He's THE MAN. He'll arrange for you to get some "seat time." You can either sit on the model or to the side. (I recommend on the model.) Jim says operators from mines around the world tell him the controls are just like their machines. (I've stood beside an operator on the biggest machine in PA, and also ran these models. Both are as cool as it gets.)

  • is there a website i can go to i would love to try out the draglines or maby puches one

  • what do you reckon they run on? gas engine with hydraulics or elec? Obviously there is no sound here so one cant tell.

  • pretty much the coolest place ever

  • Every home should have one!!

  • I suport that idea. Ill suport it and you pay for it... sound good?

  • @hairyboosh Be really cool if you could find an old dragline and remodel it to live in.

  • @kingmike40 When Big Geordie was standing rotting at Stobswood i always thought about asking for lottery funding to preserve it and make it into a museum like the 1150 Oddball. Sadly it never lived much longer.

  • Dragline World Inc. Jim Brennen constructed and manages these lovely machines. The 8750 is an absolute blast. I know personally that the 8750 model will pick up a teenage boy weighing about 180 lbs with no sweat.

  • I went. I siad I would never leave. Thats what draglineoperator heaven looks like. I could stay there forever and never get bord. I tihnk he needs a bigger place though.

  • Jim would have to agree with you. The only way you can get the two drags to not swing into each others booms is to have them on completely opposite sides of the building. The way the building is set up, it doesnt allow for a lot of room to play around.

  • Awsome Job mate

  • i wonder did this inspire don to add power to his models? then they would be even better if thats possable!
