What would be cool in a few months, when the sun doesn't get so high, is to use TWO cameras for super wide screen and then stitch them together for mass time lapse god edition thing. Not that I have any idea how to do that. Awesome stuff =D
@ABombs1 Superwide! I have actually experimented with something like this lately using a different camera. I can't find a decent subject for it though, it would suck on a sunrise.
@p00lman Yeah, with all the light changes I couldn't avoid the flicker without changing settings as it went, and, well.. I just wanted to sit it on the tripod and come back 12 hours later. :-)
@FindMeInKurume Actually I pulled the battery out for this one and plugged the camera into an outlet! :-D I wasn't sure it would work, but there ya go. This one was done with a Samsung H204 that is trying it's best to crap out on us.

Too bad its trying to give up on you, but new cameras are awesome when you get them =) crappy for the bank though.
@FindMeInKurume Sadly, this one is not that old.. got it last year. There is a newer iteration of it out now, but I'm not quite sure I'd pick it up since this one has been anything but a tank. ;-)
@EvannRachel ah man, that's rough too bad that it's trying to give up after a year =( that sucks. I don't know how happy I would be if mine stopped working after a short time. Did you take it in to have it looked at anywhere?

On one hand I'd suggest setting it to manual exposure to avoid the brightness flashes. On the other hand, that could mess up the night part.
But it came out damn near excellent as it was.
