  • beautiful

    encountersNepal

  • I've been Kala Pattar and it a exaggeration that ypu have to take breathe every ine step - I think it 20-30 even more if you have good aclimatisation :)

  • just make sure not to climb with an outfit called Summit Climb. They nearly got me killed on Everest

  • THE FIRST ACCURATE HEIGHT MEASUREMENT WAS DONE BY THE INDIAN(BENGALI)MATHEMATICIAN RADHANATH SIKDAR. HE MUST HAVE WORKED SO HARD TO GET THE HEIGHT,ITS GREATEST PRIDE. BUT TYPICAL OF BRITISH PPL TODAYS ITS KNOWN AFTER SOME BULLSHIT SURVEYER GEORGE EVEREST, WHO DON NOT HAV SINGLE CONTRIBUTION RELATED ANYTHING TO THE MOUNTAIN.I SAY THE BRITISHERS ARE SELF ACCLAIMED THIEVES-THEY TOOK WEALTH FROM ALL COUNTRIES AND NEVER RETURNED INCLUDIN THE KOHINOOR.

  • @forbidnapple

Stop being so bitter and twisted about it.

Did I detect a hint of racism between the lines?

Enough. Its just a name. its not the end of life as we know it!

  • Every time i see the top of mount everest, it reminds me of when i was there and did 50 push-ups. I was the first person to do so ever, and i still hold the record.

  • If i become a President of Nepal, i will banned people from climbing Mt. Everest.

I am a native of Nepal and Mt. Everest is consider by my Kirat tribe as the abode of my ancestors and Kirateswor(Lord of Kiratas).

Respect the Nature. It is not for you people to step on it. You people can never overcome Mt. Everest.

  • @diliprai People do no harm to a mountain, just because they climb on it.

  • to globe255. yes they do. they leave all kinds of dirt in the track. from oxygen bottles to food containers to human feeches(shit+urine). Plus they destroy the rocks and stones on the Mt. Everest while climbing.

Only native people can feel the mother earth crying for help.

You people have become heartless. Hope mother nature will send havoc to the materialistic world.

As for the Native of the World, we need to stand United and fight this globalization that is destroying our mother earth.

  • @diliprai Come on, it is just a mountain we are talking about, it wont get hurt because humans or animals are climbing on it- it is made of stone.

  • dear globe255 it's not whether it is made of stone.

Even earth you living in is made of stone.

But i understand you people won't understand the native ways and culture

But if you have time, plz watch this video -->

"sakela~the greatest festival of Kirat people" and you know why we native from Red Indians in N. America to tribes in Amazon forest revere and respect the land we live on and worship the nature.

    thanks

  • @diliprai Because some people are climbing a mountain doesnt mean they dont respect the nature, they do it just in another way.

  • what a lovely vid. brings out the inocence of the climber and the might of sagarmatha

  • What happend to the rule:

"Enjoy the Journey but leave not tracks".??

What kind of world do we leave behind for future generations?

What right do present and past generations have to pollute and destroy this planet?

  • We need to cut down the giant Redwood tree's to wipe your whining ass

  • Why are people on that mountain?

Pure nonsense, not to mention the rubbish and pollution they bring.

  • watever now Everest is in Nepal nor a India nor a Tibet or nor A China.east n west Nepal is the Best.

  • Aishwarya rai desert rose best site in youtube

  • funny how we stake claim over somethin tht really owns us..is a gazillion times larger than us and can destroy us in a matter of seconds.....

  • Everest is on the border between Nepal and Tibet. For many years no one could climb Everest from the Tibetan side because the Chinese wouldn't allow it. Now they do.

Where Buddha was born is in Nepal today; but at the time of his birth there was no Nepal, no India, no Tibet; just little kingdoms.

  • sorry bro u got it wrong. which school do u used to go to ? maybe ur school was shit!! let me tell u. mt everest is in nepal in sagarmatha zone. bare that in mind. it was never in the border.

  • no, you should be sorry, because Everest is on the border

  • See condor flying near Aconcágua- Andes. Click edylio upper in blue.

    Edylio

  • Yea its on plates that come together or something making the elevation higher each year or after years or something but yea its in Nepal. Yea your right about Buddha being born in Nepal I did some research lol its been so long sorry. and thanks for the appreciation feelings mutual.

  • Yeah, the Indian and Eurasia plates are coliding. There's ocean rock up there due to the fact that before the collision, there was an ocean plate. It was totally subducted and the rock got pushed as the Indian and Eurasian plates struck.

  • what language is this guy speaking, better not be indian.

  • he is speaking in DHIVEHI and he is a maldivian, m very proud of him

  • thats good that he is not an indian, I dont want any indian claiming or touching any precious thing from Nepal.

  • I am not indian..why do you say that though?...are you racist?

  • A kindda but just for indian any ways where do u think mt. everest is , and where was Lord BUDDHA born.

  • I know I was wondering why you hated them, I don't know any indians. I have no problems with anyone, just curious..oh and yea I know where Buddha was born in our school to graduate you have to study every religion so you can choose your beliefes with knowledge not what everyone else believes..and yea I know where mt. everest is..I am just not knowledgable about relations there I guess lol sorry

  • but why don't u want to name the country can u name it?

  • In the video it even says tibet is near lol, but yea mt everest is located in nepal, between china and india I think its in a republic of china to be specific but I might be wrong I remember some stuff from school, but mt everest also raises in elevation each year I think then again I might be wrong on that to lol sorry correct me if I am wrong

  • Ya that is the reason why I don't like india that was written in books published n its not ur fault, u studied whatever was tought to u but those so called chutiya indian.....

let me tell u MT EVEREST is in Nepal and its not right about its elevation but it might after years as everything is changing. but my fren i really appreciate you. Any ways if somebody asks u plz say its in Nepal which is true its not even in china. N buddha was born in NEPAL.

  • amazing - must have been a very spiritual moment for him. Thanks for sharing

  • i would also like to know if taht was rubbish he walked past?

  • no he wasn't walking past rubbish, there wasn't any on kala pattar..i'm sorry if the loss of resolution due to compression made the rocks and/or prayer flags look like rubbish

  • was that a pile of trash he walked by?

  • No, they were probably prayer flags.

  • b-e-a-utiful!

  • oohhhh live mt everest jijij xxd

    you are the best guy

    biva chile mierda

  • Interesting clip. A person from a sea-level country, heading to a height, I've only experienced on the inside of an aircraft. Definitely, not the same! Thanks for sharing. I'll never get to see/do any of this. This is close enough. Enjoyed it!

  • amazing

  • So right, when you stand on Kalapatar (5550 m)you really just wish you could go higher. That´s when you light up the joint and sit in oar of the view enjoying some of the best smoke in the world.

the greatest experience of my life ;)

  • I'm going there next october!! And I will sit down and enjoy that view ..with a joint ofcourse

  • you are stupid if you think that you can smoke a joint there ;) but it sounds like a dream to me :)))) the best i never had!

  • honq ????? bu ne lan herkes inqilizce yorum yazmış!

  • I want to be the first person to have a wank on the summit of Everest. Does anyone know if vaseline freezes at 8000 meters?

  • awesome video of Mount Everest, the highest mountain on earth :)

  • great panorama of the highest peaks of the planet!

  • it was beautiful, no doubt about it!

    been there;)

  • Brings back happy memories. As someone else has commented, you must have gone higher than standard treks. We climbed over boulders at the end and came to a small plateau where we could walk around - presumably the official 5545 metres.

An experience not to be missed. Most fit people can go for it. I was 59 and my wife 58 when we did the trek and did no training apart from a few extra walks before leaving home.

  • i can feel the cold from just watching the video, breath taking. what an experience! how long did it take you? .......i thought it would have been higher....the view must of filled your heart up-thanks for sharing!

  • it took us 10 days to trek from lukla, the airstrip, to kala pattar because we encountered altitude sickness and had to stay at the village of pangboche for two extra days. to go higher than mt. everest base camp you need to be on an expedition and have mountaineering permits, muha and i were only trekking..

  • The Grandest Mt

    Mt Everest..

  • el techo del mundo

  • bu dağları kameraya alan zıncı coni arkadaşım. dağım vardiye hava basıyor racon kesiyorsun. sen gel hele bi TÖNGEL dağlarına nasılbi yukseklikvar gel bak ozaman taaaa afrikadaki yamyam arkadaşlarını nasıl görüyon görmezsen nedersende! gelirsen beni bul adresim töngel tepesi töngel mahallesi töngelçıkmazı ilk töngel ağacının dibinde beklicem:) TÖNGELLİ İSMIKTAN SEVGİLER HÖRMETLER BİTTİ NOKTA .

  • Wow wow wow. I have always loved adventure. I'm now more enthusiastic than ever to go. I have no experience nor exposure in mountain climbing whatsoever. Care to to share some great sources/sites to begin. And how do u go about climbing everest? As in permit-wise, etc. Thanks in advance. Cheers!!

  • You must be super fit, and have lots of experience climbing mountains to stand any chance of reaching the top.

You must be aware that hundreds of people have died on the mountain due to freezing to death on her slopes or suffering from High Altitude sickness. You must be very driven and prepared to push your body to the limit. You must also pay anything up to $65,000 for a guide (climbing the mountain alone is impossible)

If you fit all of the above criteria, then good luck!

  • Saying hundreds of people have died from cold or AMS is misleading. In total, some 207 people have died on Chomolungma and from various reasons: cold, AMS and all its related diseases, exposure, falling, etc.

  • amazing views trekking to base camp next year - can't wait

  • Kalapattar trek is the one of the best trekking destination. Looking at your video you made it to upper Kalapatter i.e 5628m. or 1846ft.which is great for a good trekker. At Everest two people from every 1000 trekkers dies in Namche Bazzar 3364m.(11101 ft) (According to National Park survey) It's was a great video. And If you want to be a mountaineer and you want to go beyond you can do it. Thanks for sharing the video.

    Namaste.

  • many thanks sherpapasang01, i like this trek so much that in spring this year i went back there again and this time went to base camp, crossed the cho la, and also went to gokyo..but the best thing about the trek is the sherpas and the friends that i've made there..you may be interested to know that the film was selected for the kathmandu international mountain film festival and muha, the trekker in the video, went for the screening last december..cheers

  • thank you for this video... i was glad to see it.

  • well, all i could say is that climb also mt.kitanglad in bukidnon, mindanao, philippines. its also a great mountain to climb as mt. everest!

  • When I made this climb I was so exhausted and spacey from the altitude sickness that I had a conversation with a Belgian climber who didn't actually exist. Great film. Thanks for sharing!

  • Great movie!! I remember each step from my climb in nov 2005. And yes.. I now want to go higher.... ;-)

  • you climb on this mountain with this small bag?...man, that's a joke!

  • yes, we left our backpacks in gorak shep to climb the 5600 kala pattar with only the cameras..

  • they are not doing the full out everest expedition... he was at BASE CAMP 17500 or so feet... he would have had another 12000 feet to go... he is NOT straying from base camp with that little bag

  • What a stupid comment, xD4u! Being able to read and listen does not seem to be self-evident for everybody.

  • xD4u I liked your comment - is the same I thought also as I saw this video!

    Take 5 xD4u

  • this is so everest! Muuuuhaaaaaaa... salhi shoteh
