Autologous stem cell transplantation is a procedure by which blood-forming stem cells are removed, and later injected back into the patient. All stem cells are taken from the patient themselves and cultured for later injection. im not sure if this is right, but i myocardial cells dont replicate in the same manner as epidermal cells ( sub, basal, and granulosum) . i think the video was trying to show that stem cells ( in an embryonic stage) are capable of signaling with the right hormones and procedures to cultivate into heart cells... now placing them on the heart to and actually being accepted by the heart as its "own" cell can produce a hard challenge. i would be interested as to how they would achieve this
