lol and this guy whent on to be a GrangTurismo champion, see how he hits the apex, and turns every cornner corectly? lol i dout that doing that in this game acually got you a faster track time, but it looks good, good drave none the less
I loved this game! X3 I always raced as Captain Falcon though. Along with the pink one. You make this stage look so easy! I could never do this without hitting the edges.
Limiters provoke Individuality & Originality when it comes to music, before we had amazing soundchips, the only way to get good music was to make it amazing, but nowadays, its harder to find cos you have too much freedom, ask a guy to do so much with so little will create magical results
@espnjason in england the games were expensive although I never knew how much they really cost as I was a kid like 6 or 7 i think when we first got a snes. But yeah i later understood why we only had like one or two games because they were so damn expensive....
I remember when I first got my SNES. The only games I had was Street Fighter II, Top Gear and F-Zero. I would just get lost playing these games. After a while I managed to save up some money and bought Rock n' Roll Racing. Had so much fun playing those 4 games as a kid.
Wrong move. GOAT races and GOAT soundtracks. Sometimes I wonder if Sony knows what a soundtrack is with the lame ones they put out. Nintendo always has had better soundtracks than playstation.
@enjoiyourenjoideck Wow, I'm in my 5th year of college and also had this game when I was in elementary school. Your parents had some good taste having you play SNES instead of starting off with the new stuff. Gotta start with the classics.
omg! do they actually still have super nintendo's on their economy class seats?? man, i remember 12 years back i flew to japan from canada when i was 13 and i spent the entire effing flight glued to the snes games.. personal tv's and remotes were amazing enough (unheard of in 1997) but also having a snes was ridiculous! I f-zeroed and super punch-outed the shit out of that flight!
I should have note: it was few years before, I was 7-9 yo (I'm 19 now ) .
I don't think they still have this old 90's technology : The remote was multipurpose : you hold it vertically and it is a phone,-----turn it the other side , you get the TV remote and by handing it Horizontally it turned into nintendo remote : )
@woogiepooh1995 as i said: i havent seen one... ever, meaning that i cant buy one since i dont know who owns one, and then the game, nintendo doesnt make it anymore and i dont have a wii an no intention of buying one in case if it is on the VC, i cant explain anymore so please read my comment before replying
I don't like that it doesn't have the feeling of the SNES Version anymore. It's too fast and the Tracks are way too complicated. I admit, as a stand alone Game, it is pretty good, but it just doesn't feel like the good old F-zero anymore, wich was pretty straightforward. And that really dissappointed me.
wow i just played this after an 16 year hiatus and i suck now:( this was and still is my fave game on the snes system but i need to relearn the controls lol. Very nice job on beating ur record
@cubeforce Technology was so limited and sound was so poor that artists like Koji Kondo, Nobuo Uematsu and Yumiko Kanki in this case had to write some truly spectacular music for it to stand out. It's how some pieces of music in video gaming have remained timeless.
This brings back a lot. The Stingray was the TOP vehicle for me and IMO no other vehicle could corner the way it did. Driving the Stringray, you felt in control and like Chaeley mentioned, Big Blue had one of the best tunes. Driving on a beautiful planet like that with music like that blazing away would be bliss.
Haha... ^_^ The Fire Stingray+Big Blue was my specialty, too. Big Blue was my favorite (the music's awesome) and no car tops the Stingray when it comes to record breaking, especially on that track.
OMG THIS GAME IS THE BEST!
