  • hey 2old4toys do u live in Hong Kong?

  • Holly shit dude, this is awesome. Oh yes, how much this cost you anyway?? :P

  • i only have the gloss mg 2.0... it was a bitch to transform

  • Man, the more I look at Zeta, the better I like it.

  • Would you recommend this rather than the 1/100 version.

I bought the said version in Korea twice! and it was just an agitating proccess to try and transorom without it falling apart.

  • HG?

  • @zxa402 PG.

  • Hey 2old4toys, I love your vids, and hey, I was wondering for my next pg, to be this zeta, or a astray red frame pg. I know u have all pg's, so please tell me your suggestion. I'm tied at zeta or red frame. Nothing else. Thanks!

  • oooh how i wish i was older and had a job.

  • 夜景を見ることができる部屋で羨ましい・・

  • @bryanz09 go work on some coloring books.

  • I wish I had one made out of pure steel so it's look menacing

  • Is he molesting Gundam?

  • @Z1000Hiroshi of course it's not, moron. he's just showing us how great and detailed this gundam model kit is.

  • I'm stuck as to which perfect grade I want to get next, the strike or this. Which do you think is better?

  • where can i get this for a reasonable price?

  • @hdvoyagerfan nowhere, its a pg. the cheapest ive seen it is 250. youre not really going to get away with paying much less for a pg of this caliber either.

  • isnt the gun spooses to be purpleish

  • the battery is look like a nuclear power battery something!lolz

  • Its a GUNDAM!

  • these older gundams look like they have fewer parts to assemble in comparrision to the newer kits, im i right in this? what gundams would you say have the most complex assemply and why?

  • @Vegeta101691

This is a perfect grade. They all tend to have in excess of 500 parts. For comparison, a Master Grade may have between 100-200 parts.

  • Zeta ... the one I love most ...

  • O_O Perfect Grade .....

    me like

  • I don't think there is much more that can be done, it looks nice, but at the same time, you see the stress marks where the parts were attached to the sprue, there are a few ways to get rid of this. Your best option on this would be to pain over those areas if you can match the paint. it adds a world of difference when those stress marks are no longer seen.

  • I Think Jumbo Grade is High

  • Does he come painted like that? i know he has somthin like 824 parts, but do you have to paint him?

  • no you dont

  • but it'll have a better look if you paint it ;) (only 4 experts)

  • @tadzioizdat Nope, you're absolutely wrong. You can be a super noob and still paint your Gundams. In fact, I can't think of any other way for someone to learn how to paint Gundams and become an expert except by painting Gundams as a novice.

  • @crabman484 In fact, you can be a supernoob and paint them, but i wouldn't start painting with an expensive model, rather with an HG or an FG untill you have the hang of it ;)

  • @tadzioizdat whats a FG?

  • @hayato10 FG stands for First Grade.

They're gundam models with almost no quality, they resemble playmobil figures and usually they have 10/20 pieces in total. The good thing is they're perfect for trying new techniques as they're very cheap(2 dollars one)

  • COOL

  • really nice piece

  • Is the color of the side vents in the head of the zeta black or white? In this video it is white..In protomanv2's review about this kit,it is black..which one is it?O_o

  • comes in white. colour it to whatever you want yourself.

  • it looked like ur molesting it. LOL

  • thats why you learn to grow up

  • I have only seen 1/144, 1/100 and 1/1 but never 1/60! Something I have to keep my eyes peeled for!

Why do I feel dumb after saying that?

  • i believe the ver. 2.0 of zeta gundam is par with this PG kit, amirite? ver 2.0 has better proportions IMHO

  • hey, it is almost same with zeta ver 2!!

  • you must have a lot of time on your hands

  • what is the height of 1/60

  • pretty fucking big >.>

  • Cool saber light!

  • to me, this is the holy grail of perfect grade kits.

  • His videos arent bad but god add some background music

  • If only I had free music to use...

  • can u tell me whats perfect grade? master grade, high grade etc. n whats 1/144?

  • Perfect Grade : high quality detailed model with extra features usually and superb articulation

Master Grade: detailed model good articulation

High Grade: average model with decent articulation

no grade: not very detailed ok articulation

super deformed: small version with huge head...ok articulation not very detailed

1/144 is the scale size theres also 1/100 and 1/60 and other sizes

(just think of the grades as PG>MG>HG>NG>SD

  • no grade and high grade 1/144 scale the 1/100 scale have no grade high grade and master grade and 1/60 scale no grade high grade master grade perfect grade

  • Perfect grade is 1/60 with a lot of details. No grade 1/60 its like between HG and MG. Hg is a 1/144 grade (High Grade) and 1/144 has no grade too like PG and no grade from 1/60. MG is Master Grade, only on 1/100 scale. First Grade are only on 1/144 scale.

    on detail order

    1.-No grade 1/144

    2.-First Grade 1/144

    3.-High Grade 1/144

    4.-No grade 1/100

    5.-Master Grade 1/100

6.-No grade (between HG and MG) 1/60

    7.-Perfect grade 1/60

8.-Jumbo Grade 1/35 (like 1/144 HG) low details than 1/60 no grade

  • @5Chaor Open up a new tab and use some music from another video on youtube. It's not hard.

  • That is an amazing view from your house (5:50)!

  • Can you tell me how big is this thng?

  • did it cost 300$

  • how long did it take you to build the whole thing?

  • does pertect grade need to apply colour again??

  • No- perfect grades are pre-painted in very high quality that are true to the palette intended by Bandai. Obviously someone who puts effort into painting it themselves will end up having something that looks better (if they have the time to do it right). Point is, paint or not, perfect grades look great.

  • Perfect Grades are not pre-painted, but have more coloured pieces than most kits. The only exceptions are the LMPG RX-78s like the Casval Ver. or G3 Ver. Still like 0083 said they great out of the box, and really only ever need some lining work to look nice.

  • @ unit - you're absolutely right- I said "pre-painted"- what I meant was color molded.

  • but why would you settle for something great?

if i'm spending $150+ on a PG i'm fuckin' making it mind blowing detailed... ;]

  • Lol dude I have no problem with that! I said it would look better if you painted it. What I mean to say is that PG's are mind-blowingly detailed on their own. Someone asked if these needed to be painted. Some people don't have the time, space, or means to paint it... and the fact is they don't need to be painted to be mind blowingly detailed. Case and point, if you look at the PG GP01 review on my page, you can see that, even unpainted, PG's are amazing. Nobody should hesitate to buy one.

  • so are all 1/60 scales perfect?

  • Not all 1/60 scale kits are Perfect Grade. Those non-PGs will be less detailed so are easier to put together and are usually cheaper to buy too...

  • There's another one called the "Big Scale" and it's much more fragile compare to the PG cuz it doesn't have the inner skeleton.

  • Im guessing the beam saber has to be painted

  • 7:14 the beam saber is powered by a tiny battery and lit by a red LED

  • It is not painted.

  • all the little details and gimmicks...and bandai couldnt make the cockpit open like it does in the show? like, wtf mate!

  • what is gundam marker?

  • a special pen to panel the lines to make it noticable

  • does the eye light up?

  • im guessing u didnt saw it to the end

  • yes towards the end of the vid

  • I can see why Anaheim has tried and failed to make another mobile suit like this.

  • They did. The Zeta Plus line is rather nice.

  • amazing job, 2old4toys, i absolutley love this model!

also, how much time did you put into it?

  • I saw this at the store. It was the most expensive model kit there at 300$

  • Is this Gundam straight out of the box, or did you use Gundam Marker on it?

  • Comment removed

  • he used gundam marker

  • Comment removed

  • you dont have to but it would help, and bring out some of the deeper colors.

  • Does it have stickers?

  • Zeta? Yes

  • want this one so bad. i have the pg mk-ii titans :)

  • Wow such beautiful detail.I love this! I should get this! The transforming feature gives it a extra bonus touch love it!

  • whats the difference between HG MG and PG?

  • There are size, detail, and usability(poses) differences.

HG(and HGCU) 1:144 scale, MG 1:100 scale, PG 1:60 grade.

  • HG and HGUC older types don't have a frame and have less parts and detail on them, Master Grade have a Frame and outer shell/Armor and have much more parts and higher detail newer Master models hold the weapons much better than other models HG/HGUC and older MG kits Perfect Grade also have a frame and outer shell/Armor to a much larger scale most PG kits have LED of the eyes the PG Zeta have a LED beam saber other PG kits like the strike only have light of the eyes.

  • can you also pm me the links ? .... btw what do you think is more ok to buy, zeta or RX-78-2 ?

    thanks

  • sure...

  • Hi I have a question. Where do you buy your gundam model kits? I've been searching everywhere on the internet to find cheap ,good gundam model kits. If you have a site can you send me the link?

    Thanks

  • i have the same one cool

  • man this brings back memories

im seriously going to go out and buy a model kit Zeta if i can find one.

i remeber building the whole GW and 0083 model kits when i was a kid i would spend half of the summer puting in time and effort in to each one. even though now i wouldnt have the time to do that stuff again i would like to try lol any good sites where i can get some model kits for a good price?

  • go to gundam store and more <----its a web site but youtube wont let me link it. but i just got the Karaba Ver. of Zeta but any way the are really good and depending on were you live in the U.S. it gets to you pritty quik. well i hope this helps good luck

p.s. go for the master grade!

  • how long until the batterys run out

  • I don't know. I never have the lights on very long.

Anyone else out there answer this one?

  • wow

  • ...if one of these 1/60 models were real, they would crush every single one of my army of 1/100's.

  • it would destroy my 1/144's.

  • it would destroy mine.

  • it would be like, BOOM!!! it'll kill all 3 of ours...

  • the first gundam i made was a MG and i was umm 11 i think

  • man PG are awsome cant wait to get one. im just leaving HG for MG now. PG looks a little to big for me. i do agree with a comment earlier that it needs detail work but thats it good job!

  • many of the parts are shiny!! it looks very cool and metal-ish.

  • is cool luking gundam but is too big i prefer master grade

  • Yea, consedering its massive size, its just a big lump of heavy plastic... (no offence)

  • Yeah, they say im old enough for toys but i dont care as long as i dont ask them money for me to buy my toys.

  • NOBODY IS TOO OLD FOR GUNDAMS!

  • Maybe for SD Gundams...

  • or fake gundams. The weird cheap plastic ones that break easier then models.

  • wich pg is your favorite i jus finished my pg rx-78-2 and i love it, all ur vids are awesome keep making em

  • to any one who owns a pg zeta does the lithium battery use for the sword is different on the battery use by the wing tips to light up? does this mean that 3 lithium battery are included besides the CR type battery...thanks.

  • i was amaize by the video of your pg zeta im planing to have one,but may i ask is the lithium battery for the sword is different from the battery use for the wing tips?the box says batteries are included.so does it comes with 3 lithium batterys besides for the CR type battery for the head? hope you reply thanks.

  • Yeah they are cheaper, but only because the transport fee is like cheaper. A PG in Canada is about 150-300 dollars CAD, while the same in Hong Kong would be 1000-2000 HKD. Which is basically somewhat over 100 dollars to 200 dollars. But really, get a relative or friend to send it over. One of those model boxes fit like half your suit case.

  • i have one of the exact same, but man you did a bad job on cutting and sanding (just staing the truth), what happens when you dont get those parts clean you'll get gaps between the parts from what i saw.

  • I beg to differ...

  • like, just some small advice, clip the little nobs off a little tighter, but make sure it doesnt cut inwards which leaves a huge mark. personally i like to cut with a small amount of excess of the pastic bump on it, so i can easily sand it off and even it out along with the rest of the piece.

i believe it was the gun where i noticed the gap in your video where, you hadnt sanded down the bump down enough.

    although everything else looked fine.

did you use the gundam marker to fill in the lines?

  • how do u sand things off whats it mean cuz i got alot of those bumps on my strike gundam and its anoying

  • simply use sand paper, but i do recommend using like 600 sand paper. Bsaically its the sand paper you dip in water and sand with.

all you need to do is buy a few sheets of "600" sand paper and you cut a little piece out, dip it in water, and sand away on those bumps, but try to decrease the size of the bump with the nippers you use, but not too much.

  • i'd like to see some of your gundam models

  • Zeta is my favorite gundam and series

  • how cheap?

  • depends

if you want the bandai production

    or the pirated

    makes a hell lotta difference

bandai is really worth the money if you really are a die hard gundam fan

  • Zeta is one of the expensive ones! how did you afford it?

  • get in HK so fcuking cheap there, ig ot mien there and i finished mine in about 3 weeks XD

  • WOW!! that's awesome! I love how almost everything can move! BTW:? where do you live? it looks beautiful there. :)

  • Did you paint it?

  • Just a touch of paint here and there. Almost nothing really.

  • do u nid to paint the PG gundams just to make them look nice?

  • my only problem is I can't seem to get my led to light up. I don't think that the two wirers are creating a circut. I don't know what to do. How did the inside of the head look? Were the wires touching?

  • And THANKS FOR SHOWING OFF THE BEAM SABER.. AWESOME!

  • No isht! That's awesome. I wonder if the Wing Zero PG is like that as well; it's the only one I'm interested in.

  • Take a look for yourself. I just posted a couple of Perfect Grade Wing Zero vids :c))

  • Awesome toy. This is one of the big daddy's along with GP01. My next purchase would be RX-78-2. Thanks for sharing. And I'm now convinced to get Zeta for my bro..
