I don't know there cases but from experience a mother can stop contact just because they meet a new guy who wants the old guy totally out of the picture, the mother to justify this to the child makes up lies about the father, if the child is young they believe the lie and hence don't want to see the dad, this is called parental alienation.

I hope a stunt would show the child that daddy really does care.

An inspiration, keep up the good work. What the government can do, relarerfhjk, is give parents rights in law to see their own children and a presumption to shared parenting, where there is no risk to the child. I read Mark's book and it is harrowing. I've had 29 court orders to see my daughter over 5 years. Thankfully, she is asleep next to me as I write this - & yes I would bring her to a peaceful demo such as this in support of a father and childs moral right to have a meaningful relationship

I dont understand why they havent changed it, many senior judges have admitted that loving fathers are losing contact with children, through vindictive ex-wives, who are not punished by courts. There was lots of children along the way, whats wrong with that? they loved it, not much happens in this quiet village, most locals said they enjoyed it. Kids love people in costumes, haven't you ever been to Disney world?

And I am sure you will be pleased to know that all children who watched the demo where safe from any harm, with 10 uniformed police officers there how could they be any chance of danger? But thanks for your concerns.

Thorpe, direct the lower courts to give Dads who once lived with their kids THE RIGHT to see them if they split up with mum, unless there exists a criminal conviction for a 'child related' matter. So, presumed fine to see your kids-just like her new boyfriends are-but enforced by law. The Children Act allows for this (the ignored shared residence expectation) and the Contempt Act enables courts to enforce any order. A firm direction to the courts-backed by enforcement-is all we need. Mark Harris
