  • pero si se parece a my sweet lord !

  • Grande Harrison che è riuscito a a prendere questa canzone e farne il suo più grande sucesso solista. ! Cmq Harrison davvero grande.

  • The first time I heard My Sweet Lord I noticed it sounded like Oh Happy Day and in recent years George said that was what he was aiming for but,,in the end you can almost superimpose this song and George's at the beginnings but..it is alllll good !

  • Am I the only one who thinks that this sounds nothing like my sweet lord? They are two different songs!

  • cuanta belleza! incomparable! lo original es la esencia del arte o la inspiración misma de la naturaleza! creadora del Dios viviente! que se muestra en nosotros! el plagio es un negocio que solo busca réditos financiero, plagio!! que vergüenza!!

how beautiful! incomparable! the original is the essence of art and inspiration of nature itself! creator of the living God! shown in us! plagiarism is a business that seeks only financial returns, plagiarism, a very bad word! shame on you!

  • "He must have known, you know. He's smarter than that. It's irrelevant, actually - only on a monetary level does it matter. He could have changed a couple of bars in that song and nobody could ever have touched him, but he just let it go and paid the price. Maybe he thought God would just sort of let him off." John lennon on the my sweet lord courtcase.

Witty and funny as ever John ;) lol

  • #1 couple weeks after my birth. I was rockin to it in my bassinet.

  • Lol

  • Your sooooo Fine!

  • Same here....this song hit #1 the day before I was born. They knew I was coming!!!

  • This was the top song the day I was born in April 1963. Thanks for the birthday song

  • @JackieStone63 Your welcome.....I was born in 1963 as well....the song that was #1 on May 31 was "If you want to be Happy" by Jimmy Soul.

I should have paid attention to the lyrics....LOL

  • ...yeah, he was so fine

  • Yet another of the great 'girl groups' from the '60s!!!

  • Great 'home-grown' musical artistry before the "British Invasion" in '64.

  • @rickserst Yes, with their wonderful cuisine and dental hygiene.

  • Every song I hear from the 60's makes me think of a girl a certain place. It's like your there all over again.

  • No por ser joven te debe de gustar la musica moderna, esta musica ES LA MEJOOOR!

  • First the Chiffons THEN Harrison.

  • Holy CRAP!!! I've been in love with them for 29 years. Just found out who sang this. Off to "So In Love"

  • My sweet lord is much better

  • If my memory serves right , George Harrison was taken to court for plagarism on this song.In my humble opinion music should not have religious overtones..........It should be about faliing in love.............Chiffons 1 George Harrison 0......No disrespect meant sam, just my opinion ))))))

  • @samvel0202 always an a hole. I'll bet you'd piss on peace on earth.

  • @samvel0202 don't chat shit

  • Mr. Harrison, in all likelihood, sub-consciously infringed on the copyright for this song ... however ... I like listening to both these songs ... "He's So Fine" and "My Sweet Lord." They're both very listenable and a matter of choice.

  • "I'm 15 and I love this song!" nobody cares how old you are, it's good music.

  • I CANT BELIEVE PEOPLE DONT LISTEN TO MUSIC LIKE THIS I MEAN MY FRIENDS DONT EVEN KNOW WHO THE ROLLING STONES ARE I MEAN ITS JUST CRAZY IM WITH U ON THAT ONE

  • Velvety & Smooth !

  • What is the common theme in this song and many others such as 'leader of the pack'? The answer is lucifer; Back in the day this was hinted, but now songwriters are just plain blatant about it. GET WISDOM

  • My sweet Lord.. Oh My lord .. My Sweet Lord (8)

  • totally copied from george harrison's "my sweet lord" bros

  • @adbat2009 you got it backwards..Harrison totally copied the Chiffons..

  • @Geridene1 correct they took him to court over it

  • You guys gotta try "Lightning Strikes".Trust me. YES!!!!!

  • From Chuck Berry - MEMPHIS to The Beach Boys - SURFIN' USA

From The Chiffons - HE'S SO FINE to George Harrison - MY SWEET LORD

From Huey Lewis and The News - I WANT A NEW DRUG to Ray Parker JR - GHOSTBUSTERS I'm wigglin' in my fingers if you compare these songs, think about it.

  • 50's love music is the best thing since ever.

  • HES so fine... doo lang doo lang doolang!!

  • WAIT!! i CANT CATCHUP!!!

  • My Sweet Lord :D

  • I'm a Rock & Roller from way back. I have respect for all music forms thru the 90's. Haters ruin it for the 99 percent that are civilized. I'm sure they will continue to curse, belittle and demean-that's how they communicate. Those that check dislike often do it just to be different. It satisfies their warped sense of importance that they are one of three that dislike this song. This is terrific Rock & Roll no matter what haters say. 424 to 3 is proof. The Chiffons were terrific.

  • Jarring similarity to Harrison's song, although he made far better use of it so no problems there.

  • omg i love this song and all my friends make fun of me for having it on my ipod

  • I assume they're not singing about Bernie.

  • "If you had invented facebook, you would have invented facebook"

    Q.E.D

  • At azzho-----go squeeze your pimples somewhere else. You know ZERO about Rock & Roll.

  • Are they saying dooo leng dooo leng dooooo leng?!! Because thats what I sing. :)

  • Esta fue la "inspiración" de Geoge Harrison. Ja. It's "inspiration" George`s.

  • This really takes me back ... great memories

  • FANTASTIC SONG FOR ME!

  • Furthermore the vibe projected by this song is completely different to that projected by my sweet lord. This song projects a vibe for cheer, romantic confidence and dancing whereas my sweet lord projects a more serious and spiritual type of vibe.

  • It's not wrong solely for one song to have the same musical progression as that of another; I mean christ, think about nearly EVERY rock 'n' roll song of the 50s and the 12 bar blues scale. The problem comes when this is combined with the second song projecting the same message or vibe as that of the first. Personally I don't think My Sweet Lord qualifies as theft of this song, while I admit the progressions are very similar, there are some noticable differences in the harmonies and whatnot.

  • I wish people would stop arguing over a decades-old copyright issue. On the other hand I do find it rather refreshing that there's a youtube video of music with no mention of a certain little faggot that we all know and hate, so well done there :)

  • @DolchiO07 Or at least there wasn't until you brought it up! I'm just sayin'.

  • The same as My Sweet Lord, but My Sweet Lord is way better-even when The Chiffons do it.

  • @walter4092 First: learn how to spell and second: So?

  • @raintalonwindclan can you speak or write my language , i don t think so and Harrison lost the case about that

  • @raintalonwindclan first i live in Belgium , we can speak 4 languages , what about you , before you attack me , think and than wrote and second , born in 54, i grew up with the sound of the Beatles , was about 11 when my mother bought their song * help * ,The Beatles were the greatest band following by CCR for 4 years ,

The song MY sweet lord - it is a good song - but he lost the case - And i read a lot about the Beatles , there ware plans for a reunie but George don t want it

  • @walter4092 To you who lives in Belgium. You speak 4 languages , You are much more smarter than t to get into a argument with a asshole. George did accidentaly infringe on the melody. They are both great songs. I only speak 3 languages. Most of my friends only speak 1 English, but I like them anyway. Lenny USA

  • @gimbadeebum WHY SO ANGRY ? WHERE DID I GO WRONG ?

  • @walter4092 Hey Belgium, You didn't go wrong. There are people on you tube who are just angry and don't have any friends, and look for someone to piss off. I enjoy the people on You Tube and I find them to be very nice, and deserve their opinion. If it wasn't for Chuck Berry's ( Sweet Little Sixteen ) The Beach Boys would never would have recorded ( Surfing USA ) ,But I think they got his permission to use the melody. Play them here on You Tube. Lenny USA

  • number 5 on the charts in 1963

  • What'd give to live back then...

  • ALL THESE GIRL GROUPS WERE DURING MY HIGH SCHOOL DAYS IN THE 60'S!!

    FANTASTIC MEMORIES

  • I dedicate this song to my crush. :)

  • I'd also lost this from my 1963 playlist. You responded so kindly last time, I chose your video for the replacement. I've got 800 playlists as my tribute to a century of music, & it's all thanks to uploaders like you. My lists cover every year since 1900 and I lose about a song a month per list on average. It's tough to keep up with them all & replace all those grey ghosts! Maybe the copyright cops will give up on a lost cause someday. Natalie Cole even helped shut down an Aussie channel! chuck

  • History can say wat ever the hell it wants to say, but george harrisons version shits on this one even the judge who judged the court case said he prefered Harrisons version.

  • @TheWaZzA1000 The only shit is your opinion and the brain of that judge who has no musical taste. This is Rock & Roll with singers who could actually sing and harmonize.

  • @TheWaZzA1000 The only shit is your opinion and the opinion of the judge. This is Rock & Roll with singers who could actually sing and harmonize.

  • @cockroachcrusher hey dickhead, u ask anyone about The Chiffons they will say "Who the fuck are the chiffons" then u ask then about George Harrison änd they can tell u a whole sentence about him.

  • @TheWaZzA1000 You big Fukhed---you're an A*hole and don't know anything about Rock & Roll; the Beatles, and George Harrison agreed, were pretty much mediocre musicians. Plus they couldn't sing or harmonize. I'll take true Rock & Roll of the 50's and Early 60's over the garbage the Beatles started, DipShit. The Chiffons will be remembered long after George Harrison is just a bad memory, orangutan.

  • @cockroachcrusher mate u must be the biggest fucken retard if u think the chiffons will be remembered long after george harrison.

  • @TheWaZzA1000 ---you are an azzhole1000. George Harrison stole the song. STOLE. And he made a lame, white bread version of a great ROCK & ROLL song. You can have the watered down vanilla covers of great Rock & Roll songs that "singers" like George Harrison, the Beatles, James Taylor, Pat Boone and others recorded and still record, ruining great Rock & Roll songs.

  • @cockroachcrusher mate George Harrison turned the song into a hit and he sold millions more copies than these nobodys so shut the fuck up U CUNT.

  • @TheWaZzA1000 I all due respect, this was the original, and the CHIFFONS won a plagiarism suit in 1977.

  • My favorite of the girlie songs from back then. I love the vocals! Gonna listen to it again!

  • This takes me back a long, long time, before I was old enough to appreciate it.

  • He's so fine-My sweet lord-Supersonic

  • This is one brilliant record

  • A #1 hit for The Chiffons in April 1963. This hit also went to #1 on the Rhythm & Blues charts.

  • My Sweet Lord... that is perfectly the same melody

  • @csabaimate That's why he got sued over it!

  • @csabaimate Well, whatever. George put the melody to better use. I mean, seriously, this song was nothing until the lawsuit. So, actually, George blew life into this song.

  • @MetrazolElectricity I liked both songs totally independently of each other - so you are speaking for yourself.

  • @MetrazolElectricity is Very

  • @csabaimate LOL WELL HE COPIED IT BUT WAS SUCH A FUCKING BADASS THAT HE BOUGHT THE RIGHTS TO HE'S SO FINE AND OUTFUCKED EVERYONE EVEN IN DEATH EVEN IN FUCKING DEATH HE'S CACKLING LIKE AN OLD QUEEN ABOUT IT BECAUSE HE'S THAT FUCKING GREAT

  • @heyrockydennis Such a fucking badass or a rich motherfucker?

  • @csabaimate Influences and similarities like this are everywhere in Rock music.

  • @csabaimate Pretty insightful observation. You're listening.

  • @csabaimate When I was a kid in the sixties they taught us a song:

Little George & little Abe, did not know that they,

Would someday be great presidents of our own USA.

Only recently did it occur to me it was the melody of 'Love Me Tender"! chuck

  • @csabaimate Harrison actually lost a law suit of which this was the reason.

  • just a great song !

  • Use to sneak in my step dads off limits record collection everytime him and my mom left the house. And this would be the first song I play everytime, still one of my favs....

  • me encanta THANKS
