Well, I hadn't heard that about my laugh until recently, but then a couple of people said the same thing in comments on my "Knott's Scary Farm '06: Scare Zones" video. Another person said my laugh scares them. :-)

Yeah, I figured some of the fans of my Halloween theme park videos would be put off by this video, but as my channel description says, "Style: Variety". More videos with monsters jumping out coming soon. :-)

No, while she seems to have quite a command over computer-based video editing, I don't think she's been finding or exploiting too many software vulnerabilities. I think she just wanted to check DEFCON out.

Also, there are some talks and activities at DEFCON that are of interest to other than computer security people, including sessions on law, physical security (the ease of opening most locks without the key), etc.

Yeah, I took a look at the alternate thumbnail frames, but there's a compression artifact around her mouth that makes the third one look a little weird.

It's currently a video response to the 6-second one where she says she's going to DEFCON (which was the only DEFCON-related one she had up when I posted it). In the "World Law" one she mentions that she has footage from the event -- I may change which video this is a response to after she posts that.
