Damn bro I actually got this, trig. is not that hard actually just hard formula's man but you explained it good bro I wish you were my teacher at my high school cause the one I have sucks
@m33lad Trigonometry is useful in the real world more so, it is used in many things eg, engineering, astronomy, architechture, surveying, ocenaography, etc etc etc.
hey guys I found this App ( iTriangles ) it could help you with trigonometry, well it helped me, it has a triangle solver and a pdf with trigonometry topics :) hope you find it useful :)
Wow, I'm with Todd on this one! Like my teacher was pree good at explaining this, but, well, I wasn't really listening (I was flirting with this cute gal). But man! You totally filled me in on what I missed all in 9 and a half minutes!!! Thank you man!! Keep up the great work!
shouldnt the hyp be negative cause you transposed it to the other side? or did you just multiply it both by 7? sorry im studying physics and i dont have a background in trigonometry so i dont have a clue what the hell my teacher is teaching me.
I know for a fact, as I am taking a math major in university right now, your proportions are incorrect. Your angle is definitely wrong. It must be over 45 degrees, because your adjacent is larger than your opposite. That, unless your angle is less than 45 degrees, is impossible.
@allenlistar Seriously get a life and stop trolling youtube! If you're studying a Major in Mathematics I would hope you have better things to do than poke holes in other peoples work. What positive contributions have you ever made to youtube / people's education ?
@allenlistar chill out! Its helped those who find it difficult, so go and finish your major cos your head is obviously so far up your own arse your adams apple is your the top of your head.
Are Hyp. Cos. and Sin. all invariables? What are they and where do they come from? (I hate just following rules or punching things into a calculator to solve maths problems without actually really understanding what I'm doing!)
An informative recap on some of the functions I thought I forgot from high school.
Why did you make this vid, if you don't mind me asking? Are you planning on becoming a teacher, doing it for an assignment, or do you just learn best this way?
great video. better than KhanAcademy! you rock.

The hyp wouldn't be negative because your multiplying 7 on both sides not subtracting

@allenlistar yes.. but the point of the video is not really to show how to draw triangles to scale.

wow man!! I checked it and it's actually right!!
I used the formula: sin35=opp/hyp
-(then i subtituted the value of opp. and hyp.)-
0.57357643635105=4.015035054457/ 7
0.57357643635105=0.57357643635105 it's correct!!thanks man!

Great video. I know you were just demonstrating, but after you solved y, you could have just used Pythagorean theorem to solve for x. =)
