Some Japanese artists sing Engrish versions of J-Pop music. The guy from Jam Project who did the DBZ Intros is a Perfect Example of this.

If you mean the person singing this song isn't the same person as you're used to, there are actually quite a few variations of this theme sung by different J-Pop artists. It's usually very rare for an Engrish Version to be used as an intro, though.

Sometimes the Engrish Version lyrics of a song differ almost entirely from the original in terms of meaning. This doesn't stop the song from being any less kick ass, however. lol
