at the end of this race, i am going to be sad that ron paul isn't a part of it, and if he would have made it to the republican convention, even though they wouldn't accept it which is sad in itself, i would have had a tough decision between obama/clinton, or him. He's not liberal enough and there a few things he's done that baffle me (continuing rendition, appointing the head of GE, a company that paid no taxes in at least the last 3 years, in charge of an energy thing), but given the mess he was handed when he entered office and that he's had to deal with nothing but opposition, he's done remarkably well. When I think of the alternatives talking about running against him? HELL YES he has my vote in 2012.

The media swayed the opinion of Bush so much during his presidency and he doesn't get the recognition he deserves as a president. I personally think that the standardized testing of the NCLBA is an absolute failure. Going through public middle school after it was passed, the education is focussed on testing and not on learning. Our whole education system needs to be focussed on learning and not testing. I think that this did the opposite. But, it was a bipartisan agreement and there really isnt any other way to hold school accountable.
