  • Half the present organ is still Aeolian-Skinner/EM Skinner. They could re-use it but won't so someone can charge 100k per rank for new.

  • Any pictures of the Adams Gallery Organ?

  • Look at part 3 at 0:40 and part 4 from 3:00 onwards, the pictures show the old Gallery organ, its a rather plain case with small chamades. Sadly there are very few pictures of this organ.

  • Nice work, as usual. You've done a lot better job than I did of uncovering pix of St Thomas.

  • It took hours to find all the pictures I needed, you just gotta search and search!!

  • The Great Pierre Cochereau! Thanks for uploading!

  • Many thanks for the clarification!

  • I'm confused as to which instrument this is. Initially, you indicate this the Adams gallery tracker organ. But at the end of your commentary you indicate that this is the chancel Skinner/A-S, which was revised further by Mann and Trupiano.

  • too much info, sorry! Cochereau did play Couperin on the gallery organ on the first part of his concert, but then played the chancel organ for the other pieces, Vierne, Dupré and the improvisation.

In this piece he only plays the chancel organ, William Self plays parts of the theme (and joins in on the finale) on the gallery organ.
