I do have 2 websites i cant paste a link here onename is the same as my user name with a dot com and the other is Missoulaautoauction with a dot com only problem is you will only see what i have videos of i have about 170 cars and usually 30-40 on my site so check them out and you can see what i have up and if there is specific cars you see i have call and ask. 406 544 6919

very nice and clean merc Nathan, like all of your mercs.. though this is as far from a euro model you can come, with american headlights, tail lights and bumpers, the euro models all have a passanger mirror. and they rarely came with automatic or leather seats, and euros didnt get those wood panels until -83. still very nice, but you say the gearbox shift too quickly? im always short shifting my 240D (M/T) cus it works as good on low revs as on the high thanks to its increadible engine! :)

@coolakiIlen007 Those are not leather seats. But I agree, clearly not a Euro. Power windows were optional on 240Ds. I think Nathan was describing a flare on the 2-3 shift, pretty common on these transmissions, although in my experience a rebuild is more like $2000 not $500.

@gotham61 yeah i guess, ive got ´galoon´ on the side and rear of my seats, which look like the material on the seats in the vid, but ive got cloth seats which are much better when its cold, or warm :) best cars ever!

@coolakiIlen007 Galoon? We usually call the Mercedes-Benz vinyl "MB-Tex". Normal cloth was not offered on US cars, although velour was a very rare option. My W123 has leather which is also quite rare. You see people all the time who think their MB-Tex vinyl is leather.

@gotham61 yeah, well personally i have no actuall experience of leather so i really dont see the difference, though if you look at older benzes ex. a w108 250S aprox -67 they usually have the typical galoon as we kall it. its the same material as rain clothes.. or at least the same name. i dont know how it is in america though.. ive seen velour in some models, mostly S-klasses and yes that is a rare option. but here in Sweden leather is not an option when its like sitting on ice at -30*c! :P

@gotham61 I have Extra Transmissions that are good shifting and i will have it nstalled for $500-$600. I wouldent do anything to it but just drive it. going up a big hill downshift pretty simple...;-) I dont have any connections on rebuilds but was told around $1200

Nice car. Definitely not a Euro version however. The cruise control stalk attaches behind the turn signal/wiper lever. New headlight doors are cheap on eBay.
