@BollForte94 yeah man, he has been doing really really good now. I think its because his backhand is alot more versatile and consistent now. He always had the amazing forehand killer, now his backhand is more dependable too.
@scylla24 yeah... youe are right, Chen Qi forehand is way destructive, sometimes even more than ma long forehand... and for some reason his backhand has become a killer weapon too... don´t know why he is no in the Chinese primary national team...
@max095 You have to be more than just amazing to be on the A team for the Chinese, you have to be amazing, lucky, at your peak, and totally focused mentally.
@max095 yeah, I would agree, when it comes to just all out power to end the point, Chen Qi's forehand is insane. His kill shots with his forehand are almost always unreturnable. Ma Long's forehand isn't as point ending, but he just is so consistent and fast at looping that he usually ends up winning the point anyway. If Chen Qi continues to play like this he may very well be. I mean they choose their team for big tournaments by having a playoff, so if Chen Qi wins one he will represent them
@scylla24 Indeed, Ma Long = consistency in the attack... Chen Qi = all out power fiishing attack... I've seem lately chen qi defeating Ma Lin, and many others in this chinese superleague... so maybe he migth have a chance in the Trials for an incoming tournament... As he is playing now, I would like to see a match between Chen Qi and Ma Long... to see if he can avenge for "German Open"...
@max095 chen qi has actually defeated ma lin quite a lot more after 2008, n he is defeating many more other players now in 2010 chinese league
n indeed chenqi, rather than xuxin, has been picked as one of the six players to the upcoming china open @@ the tournament with highest prize money other than the ittf pro tour finals
wow

chen qi forehand is the most explosive
wlq's is most powerful
ma long's is more like he can loop anything with it quick and clean + flexibility
consistency has pushed chenqi to the top :) the difference he has made is, he doesn't miss the BH defense n offense now,,
btw he is already in the "A team" juz that he couldn't go to the WTTC
can't wait to see him against zhang or malong
1:22 is beauty lol
