@MBRT896 It's a shame he never got a shot of the Tics eyes they are amazing....my friend had one...it was a story of success and failure...success cos it had grown so big and fialure cos it was too big to keep...and the amount of times he was bitten by it was unreal...the Reticulated python is a real aggressive snake to keep and at some point as a keeper you shall be bitten by it clearly not a first time snake to own.
@MBRT896 if you re refering to the retic in this video it isn't a lavender, lavender is a type of bob clark's albino morph, that just looks like a beautiful normal, sucks it dead, even worse is how it died it was most likely a quick death but died cuz of people, reptiles hell every animal has a hard life, people make it that much harder! if you re driving instead of swerving to hit the animal think of the odds it had to beat to even live as long as it has, and don't hit it! thanks
@BrodyDawg12 extinct? I never heard that... they are EVERYWHERE in southern THailand - and maybe they are rare in some parts of Asia -but in Thailand these snakes are thriving, I assure you!
@john09hilarie Yeah, you'd never know I guess. I didn't, but impossible to prove that - or really, wouldn't have a need to. I've ran over oriental whip snakes before... they dart out of the grass RIGHT under the motorbike tire. If they can't make it back to the grass I put them back there.
Probably this python was hit at night - they're too big not to see and too slow to have jumped out on the road... what a cool snake though.
''He seems to be in pretty good shape'', ''His head doesn't appear to be crushed or anything'' - check out the great big tyre indentations near the head!

beautiful snake thanks for actaully admiring him... rigor mortis dude... it looked stiff as helll........anyway retics for life man, most intelligent snake you can own get one and succomb to0 some serious experience dude.
That's really a sad thing to come upon and find and even worse a great looking Mainland normal. It's amazing how many animal rights supporters seem to think reptiles have a better survival rate in their natural environment and that's totally not true.
YOU GO U SNAKE FINDIN ,SCOOTER RIDEN ,SANDLE WEARIN DUDE!!!

They aren't all agressive, mostly just defensive and flighty. They will bite if you mess with them but a lot of captive bred animals are dogtame.
They will grow up to max 7,5 / 8 meters but thats only when you feed them max. Most animals won't reach that lenght
