No, its simply the first time when everthing was shot on camera. Thats why it produced such reaction on russian part, espessialy the military who feels fooled - thats why they created the document you've just used (about missile launched from the tips etc.) This kind of thruth is very diffucult to handle and feeling guilty - its to much for official Moscou - we all know that the best remedy from quiltness - is the contre-attack against the ennemy(Georgia)to make him feel guilty instead.

What was the place on the video? Compare the landascape (on the part where the UAV is attacked) with photos of Abkhazia on GoogleEarth. You can't see the famous abkhazian beaches. Where are they??? The coast seems to be covered with dense forest...

I agree with some of your points and disagree with others, yes the aircraft looks to be firing from wingtips which could mean a SU-27 but it's quite far out to tell for sure though, and some A-A missiles do leave a smoke trail.
This is BS, the video was fabricated. The air-to-air missiles do NOT leave the white smoke trail. Besides, what was the point to shoot the drone from below and fire so close to the target? The MIG could of shot the drone from high above and from the distance in order to stay in blind spot and not to get busted. There are many other flaws in the video, so try smth better next time.
Reg smoke-trails : Depends on what missile is fired. Older AA missiles do smoke.
Maybe the SU was actually scrambled to take down the drone, thus carrying older/smokier and shorter ranged (IR) AA missiles. No point in spending a costly BVR missile against a drone.

Indeed the early AA missiles did produce think smoke, but modern AA missiles are all "low-smoke" and in the video the trail is a couple of miles long. Nevermind the smoke and whether the missile was fired from the pylon on the wing tip. All I know is that Russia would of never done smth crazy like that, because if they did it that would be easy to prove and so far Georgia hasn't proved it. Even the US and EU (except for some sick EU member states) haven't accused Russia of taking down the drone.
Taking out drone is legal that is why nobody accused. That is no-fly zone of frozen conflict and Russia is in charge due to UN mandate for peace-keeping. As for fake there are lot of factors indicating it's not fake. First is a fighter behavior. It is very unusual for air combat but exact proper for stealthy drone shooting if you'll try to get it's logic. Movie fakers has no chance to get it to put into video.

Nobody initiated separatism in those regions. Just all hidden differences, mutual pretensions, and different aspirations broke out at that time. Russia, in times of permanently drunk Eltzin, not only could not prevent that but was not capable of calming the conflicts fast either. Nevertheless, at that time Russia managed to stop bloodshed. Why the conflicts were not solved for so long? Maybe because they are not solvable?

By acting consequently I mean the russian help to Abkhazians during the conflict. They did everything to arm and to send to Abkhazia the tchethens that fought against the Georgians. Irony of sort is that the same tchetchens faught against Russians a few years later. I was amazed when the Russians were sincerely angry on Georgia, when the Georgians didnt fight the tchetchens on their part during the Tchechen war-after all the harm they did to Geogria before! Its pure macciavelism.

You are lying. In 1992 chechen separatists helped georgians in an attack on Abkhazia. Later on, the same separaticts attacked Abkhazia on behalf of Georgia on a few occasions. They were beaten, fortunately. In exchange, Georgia provided calm haven for chechen guerillas.

Have you ever heard about "Caucasian legion"? Its a regiment composed by the North-Caucasians armed by Moscow and sent to Abkhazia to fight on the Abkazian side. The famous Shamil Basaev was the leader of the tchechens - you can easily find all kind of information about it on the web .

If the dron was shot down by abkhazians-its one thing-its their own(and Georgians) matter. If the Russians did it-its absolutely different one. And you sincerely think - its a fake? I have never seen such a fake in my life. For me its quite evident its a russian plane, because:
- Moscou never really considered the ex-USSR countries as absoulutely independent and acts consequently.
- There are no other MIG-29 (and its MIG-29, no matter what the russian generals say) in the neigbour states.

They (Russians, Moldavians, Georgians) have the whole right to fly over (Thcechnya, Pridnestrovie, Abkhazie etc) - otherwise the separatism would be a good, easy deal. Its very diffucult do define the status of the conflict zone - Russians never allowed smbd to consider the Thechen war as world's matter. Why do they not recognize the same right to Georgians? As I said below, one think - to shoot down an aircraft bombarding the village - the other - the scout dron over the coast.

According to the UN regulations for this conflict zone no Georgian aircraft can fly over Abkhazia without special permission. It's not Russia who made this rule. It's UN. The Russian peacemakers are placed there by MUTUAL agreement of the both sides of the conflict. Scout drones don't fly for making picters for tourist magazines. They are used for military purposes, that's why they are prohibited from flying in the zone of the conflict.

No, its simply the first time when everthing was shot on camera. Thats why it produced such reaction on russian part, espessialy the military who feels fooled - thats why they created the document you've just used (about missile launched from the tips etc.) This kind of thruth is very diffucult to handle and feeling guilty - its to much for official Moscou - we all know that the best remedy from quiltness - is the contre-attack against the ennemy(Georgia)to make him feel guilty instead.

1. No MiG-29 has missiles on its wings tips.
2. What is the place? There is no the famous Abkhazian sand beach visible on the footage. The place seems to be the water resevior near Tbilisi.
3. There is no the 'smoke' while launching AA missiles (only 'ground to air' missiles leave smoke).
Finally. Why didn't Geargian delegation present the evidence during the UN session? Because it's good enough to fool people on the net only. Not experts.

This is BS, the video was fabricated. The air-to-air missiles do NOT leave the white smoke trail. Besides, what was the point to shoot the drone from below and fire so close to the target? The MIG could of shot the drone from high above and from the distance in order to stay in blind spot and not to get busted. There are many other flaws in the video, so try smth better next time.

Reg smoke-trails : Depends on what missile is fired. Older AA missiles do smoke.
Maybe the SU was actually scrambled to take down the drone, thus carrying older/smokier and shorter ranged (IR) AA missiles. No point in spending a costly BVR missile against a drone.
Maybe you should read some books on modern air-combat mate...

Indeed the early AA missiles did produce think smoke, but modern AA missiles are all "low-smoke" and in the video the trail is a couple of miles long. Nevermind the smoke and whether the missile was fired from the pylon on the wing tip. All I know is that Russia would of never done smth crazy like that, because if they did it that would be easy to prove and so far Georgia hasn't proved it. Even the US and EU (except for some sick EU member states) haven't accused Russia of taking down the drone.

Taking out drone is legal that is why nobody accused. That is no-fly zone of frozen conflict and Russia is in charge due to UN mandate for peace-keeping. As for fake there are lot of factors indicating it's not fake. First is a fighter behavior. It is very unusual for air combat but exact proper for stealthy drone shooting if you'll try to get it's logic. Movie fakers has no chance to get it to put into video.

it seems pilot has a task to shoot this foo flying in controlled by russian peacekeepers region. He is not a philosopher.
Usually pilots must have visual contact, to avoid a mistake(might it is a small civil plane?).

Its definitely not peacekeeping, but direct involvement. I could understand shooting down the military plane full loaded, but not a scout dron over its own territory. Formally, its georgian territory - no country in the recognised it yet. Thats why Moscou denies any involvement even so evident.

1. it was a spy.
2. it was shooted over abhasia. not georgia... parts of shooted plane were collected by abhasians, not georgians.

SU-27 is a plane which Abkhazia has, so it was Abkhazian forces that shoot it down, that is the proof, ..that is why georgians said it was Mig-29, Abkhazians don't have Mig-29 hence the proof that Russians did it, .. but an SU-27 would prove it otherwise, .. p.s.: russians didn't itrude anything, neither did the abkhazians defending the territory, by the way this was a clear provocation from the Georgian side, and not the first time a drone was shot also, ..

my god people you are so blind, .. this is not Mig-29 but Su-27, ..look closely, you will see the fins perpendicular to the fuselage, you will se the wingtips from where the missile was launched, Mig-29 doesn't have racks on the wingtips, .. loooooook .. for cryin out loud.. :))
