@ytrogergt You are correct. I noticed that the large bars are fake. The real ones are either in the vault at the back or on order from another source. The smaller ingots and bars are real. All silver bars in the video are real and ready to take home. Most stores here have scales to weigh metals and some offer certificates. China Gold store is the most reliable and trustworthy among Chinese gold & silver dealers.
@AgentThis99 License? I'm not sure what you mean. There is no requirement of a licence to buy bullion in China. LOL! Unless they were trying to buy a massive amount. No, you can go into any precious metals store or jewelry store and walk out with metals - no questions asked. Not even tax forms. In the states it is a whole different story and it is about to get worse with the new tax laws. The only trouble you will have in Asia getting metals is at some banks. They usually want data...
@investornator Yeah I kinda like 'em also. But you know, I am not sure where I could sell them outside of China. How to put a value on such a cultural bullion product like that? Maybe I will buy a little oz one....
@SilverDude7890 Yes, APMEX rocks. It is really incredible to me that I can buy a Chinese minted item from APMEX and have them ship to me for less than I can get over the counter in China! Some things about this world just make no sense at all. Oh well, keep stackin' ! =)
@clearasvodka FYI.... I just did price comparisons yesterday on about 25 items from 4 specific websites: Apmex, Westminster Mint, Gainesville Coins and GoldenEagleCoin. APMEX was the second highest priced on every item! Gainesville SMOKES all others from my price comparisons!! APMEX has 2011 Pandas for $4 higher than G.Ville right this second (G.Ville - $42.00 APMEX - $46.25!). With that $5 off coupon I had mentioned before, Shipping is $7.99 for up to 10 Ounces from Gainesville!! THEY ROCK! :)
I just did the conversion for $1580 Yuan to US Dollars for that 1000 Gram Bar. That's like 32 Ounces for $244 US or the equivalent of $7.63 AN OUNCE!?! Am I doing the math right and did you clean them out or what?? Lol...
@Skudgeboy That price card is not right. I was scratching my head when I read that one also. Sometimes they list the per gram price. Sometimes they list the price of the smaller bar near the large one and don't bother to put multiple prices on items, (lazy...etc). I will go back and try to get them to explain.
only Chinese in china can buy and sell that stuff in china.... anywhere else would just pass them off as all fakes. once u get a bad rep u always have a bar rep
@jayrush01 Yeah to a certain extent I agree. They have rackets for just about anything here. And if you are a foreigner - it usually means you will be the one on the short end!
@krazykobe8 It was early. About 9 or 10 am. They just opened. Usually things pick up after working hours. Also, this is a smaller town so not as much money for OTC....
Very nice! Thanks

So they have those shops all over China? There's nothing like that in USA.
But it may be cheaper to buy it on Apmex and have it shipped to China versus buying at that high-end store.
