  • He says that the government is corrupting wall street... Its the other way around. The pharmaceutical companies, the military industrial complex, the major food companies and others twist the governments arm to create laws that benefit thesecompanies and screw over the little guy. "By the people and for the people" my ass.

At least that's the way i see it.

  • Who is John Gault?

  • This is why Occupy Wall Street will never be more than a group of smelly liberals who don't want to get jobs.

  • Peter is an economic genius. But I think he deliberately does not address or recognize the growing inequalities in the distribution of income and wealth. Nor does he ever talk about the unsustainability of the capitalist system - it's well known that if everyone behaves like Americans we'd need more than 7 planets to support us. I think Peter has in head in the sand sometimes. :(

  • First, this list is ridiculous and fake/tampered with. Free healthcare is possible, french part of Canada currently works under that model. Destroying U.S economy would be the perfect solution for a clean start ( the current economy model we use is retarded as there is no way to get out of any debt, and create money out of air)

  • @NeoDragon21 France and Canada do NOT have "free" health care systems, contrary to popular leftist belief. I can't think of any country that does, save maybe Cuba. Why aren't they free? Because they're paid for by taxes, or in other words, they're paid for by the people who work. And oh, if by clean start you mean millions of dead through violence, malnourishment, exposure, then sure... Do a search for "Pol Pot," I'm sure you'd like his ideas. Also, read up on the history preceeding WW2.

  • I make 20$ an hour lol yay

  • this list is not from the people Peter should know its set up. I think hes dumb sometimes

  • ROFL!!!!!!! The folks who came up with the list are so delusional and misinformed that I found this hilarious. This is even funnier than all Modern Family episodes combined.

  • Sometimes Peter sounds like a real dick head. I admit many of the Wall street protestors are off base but Peter needs to realize that this movement is symbolic of the general discontent of the public at large. Of course there are going to be some wacky ideas thrown around Peter? I admit Wall Street is not really to blame. Government giving our money to those bastards,ie TOO BIG TO FAIL is what is wrong. They should have been allowed to fail period.

  • @karveljay Peter Schiff did go to Occupy Wall-street: /watch?v=ahMGoB01qiA

  • watch?v=4wHuFLjfo6o

  • #1 and only demand: END THE FEDERAL RESERVE!

  • Whether or not these are the actual demands, there are many uneducated protestors in regards to economics. There are however some that do know a thing or two. I'm no economic genius either but I'm starting to learn and research. I suggest everyone to do the same! Peace to all.

  • $20 and hour minimum wage? keep dreaming

  • i dont think all the protesters are wanting these demands, i think these demands were created by the right media to tryi to makes these protesters look dumb, until i see their leader on the right media stating these demands i do not believe them to the protesters - if they have need this send me the url

  • @ownerowner100 They may not all be socialist; but there are a significant amount of brain washed socialists out there. tinyurl(dot)com/3mglq4r

  • @ownerowner100 thats actually a good point but it doesnt matter since soon eonugh it wont be thousands of people rioting but millions

  • get out there and articulate to these people that thinking with your heart wont fix our problems. Everyone is too busy with American Idol pop culture shit to be informed.

  • We are at a crossroads in this country. This is a battle of ideas, between the informed and the emotional.

  • @iivxtii so true

  • @iivxtii that's an accurate statement

  • Never mind economics. These folks need to study Hegel. Problem-Reaction-Solution in full effect, right before our eyes.
