If as much as 10% of the current Chinese agricultural/rural land is converted to cities, it will be the end of China! China does not need any more heartless restless concrete forrests! I agree with maple2000new. I am a Chinese and born in a small mountain village in China. I am now in Canada. But I am always proud of being a Chinese, and proud of being born in a small village. People living in rural areas are much happier and more innocent than those in big cities. People around the world should get to know more about China, but not only through the comments and impressions from some ideology-oriented newspapers or persons.

That´s looks in many parts better than the slums in your country U.s.a. At least in China they don´t shoot each other and they have enough to eat. It is not like in U.s.a, where according to your own statistics more than 3 million people experience hunger every day.

I suggest you to visit the slums in los angeles and new amsterdam. They are excellent show cases to film.

Thanks for your comment and for your interest in my video. By the way, it was my Chinese wife, not me, who made this film, as is obvious from the film itself. I usually do ask permission to film, and in this case nobody in the village seemed to mind. I only filmed in public places, and didn't invade anybody's privacy. As you can see from the film, people weren't put off by my filming.
