Great video thanks for covering this piece. By the way how do vital waterway and boats go together? It is humans that have truly done the most damage to every habitat in the pursuit of our greed.

As a former 4th grade teacher, just wanted to let you know that beaver hats were worn by fashionable men, not women. The fur was cut down to a low nap, and covered the top hats that men wore in the 1800's to the 1830's. Using fur eventually went out of fashion, with silk replacing the desired material. I really enjoyed seeing these beaver dams and your discussion of their place in a healthy ecosystem.

@stealth7usa "their thing" isn't always the greatest thing...sometimes they block vital waterways for boat traffic or irrigation etc. they have their positives but they can really do damage as well. gotta love it when they get hold of a low bottom creek needed for nothing and it overflowing...makes for a damn good duck hunting spot
