  • LOOK AT THE STAR.ARE U NOT MEZMERIZED

  • He was great to watch as a six year old. I always loved sammartino so naturally I hated Graham. Dude was the perfect wrestler but ten years too soon. The Jim Dandy of Wrestling

  • I remember when Wahoo McDaniels armwrestled Graham left handed and beat him. Graham went apeshit. LOL classic TV back them.

  • Hogans look + Flair promos + Dusty Rhodes voice = Superstar Billy Graham

  • Superstar was sooooooo ahead of his time. He had it all over the guys today. I remember when he hit NYC in 1976. he played the city like Joe Namath and Reggie Jackson. He sold Madison Square Garden out every time he wrestled. it's too bad that he missed out on the big money.

  • You really have to know what alot of stuff is before you interview Superstar Billy Graham.

  • @Tellthatruth LOL! thats so true... very funny.

  • ivan "kurwa-paruva-polski" putski

  • Billy Graham + Super Macho Man from Punch out......separated @ birth...

  • SBG - Too Sweet To Be Sour..........

  • Polacy, jestem dumny:)

  • Superstar Billy Graham = SUPER MACHO MAN from Punch Out. LOL!

  • ''Piwo wypijemy'' widać że polak xD

  • Now we see who Scott Steiner ripped off.

  • The SupaStar just arrived from the planet Shake-Weight...

  • Damn SuperStar ripped as hell

  • The Legendary Marty Oneil.

  • He is not polish!!!!1!1!111!1!1!

  • @MrFrument Putski (bron Jozef Bednarski) is indeed Polish! Born in Krakow, and legitimately speaking Polish on this interview. He's living in the Austin Texas area these days

  • gaham has the coolest sunglases of all time XD

  • easy to see how scott steiner copied this guy

  • My name-sake: Marty O'Neill!! I wish I could find more of his interviews--they're pretty rad.

  • Ivan says: "Now I have the partner too. My partner is Polish like me, he is my brother" "After the match we will drink the beer and we will be dancing with girls"

  • Hogan ran into Graham along witb Steve Strong another wrestler in a Florida Roadhouse in the early 1970s by accident and that is how the Hulk-a-Mania thing got its start.

  • Wayne Coleman- Graham's real name did a 550 touch-and -g bench press at Muscle Bach in 1969. In 1972 he did a narrow stance full squat with 650 in Los Angles.

  • In the early 1970s (1973) Putski was about 5.9 and 280 he was doing 425 for sets of 6-10 reps in the bench for 8-10 sets, Push Press 325 for sets of 10-12 reps and squats to a bench a little above parallel with 650 for 10 reps. Workout program given in 1973 Muscular Development magazine along with photos.

  • steriods are the breakfast of champions. graham problem was coke, period. he blew a fortune up his nose. main event wrestlers do too much coke and too much booze. jobbers who stay clean and sober never get a push. promoters are worried one might be a cover narc. think about what i wrote.

  • I loved the Superstar.

He made the sport worth watching.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • Ivan Putski shouldn't even be in the Hall of Fame, the guy is overrated and incredibly boring to watch.

  • Billy Graham is Super MachoMan from Super Punchout, lol

  • Ivan looks alot like the Mighty Igor back then.

  • putski is a mountain freaking huge

  • Zobaczysz co zrobimy z nimi !!!

  • Holy cow! Billy Gram was freaking massive! And ripped!!!

  • Ivan was a powerlifter? I thought he was more like a bodybuilder...in the footage I saw him in he was more cut and defined than that

  • Piwo:). I like beer:). It's only Ivan Putski:)!

  • back when men were men...

  • there was a few built guys in the 70's, ivan putski, ken patera, crusher looked good, all the guys today look like underwear models. even as much as i don't like cena he is built has alot of power. they should legalize steroids and just make atletes take them correctly, low dosages for 6 weeks then 6 weeks off and there bodies won't fall apart in 20 years, lil

  • its actually "The mighty Igor"

  • @barny666 Putski did a similar shtick to Igor's when outside the WWWF, but they aren't the same guy..

  • At 0:20 it sounds like Putski says "that Lenny Henry, a superstar, eh? Haaa hahaha"

  • Love the fist sandwich comments....LMAO

  • Wow, Steiner really did rip this guy off. Even the "heh".

  • Będziemy piwo pić i tańczyć z babami!!! Polish Power!!

  • Violence is american professional wrestling! Super Star was the greatest! Today he would be a wrestling icon! There were none better...

  • I got to see lots of A.W.A in the early 70's. Superstar Graham was like no other wrestler...just watching him walk from the dressing room was a sight. I wish I had every tv taping of "all star wrestling" back then esp the Graham vs Wahoo arm wrestling stunt. I saw the match that followed, then the standing room only strap-match...never forgot it.

  • @Mrdoctorx Mrdoctorx Darned straight. I saw many AWA events in Minneapolis and St Paul, and the Superstar packed them in. No question there were other well-built wrestlers during that era - Mil Mascaras and Graham's names were often brought up in physique comparisons - but none had the charisma that Billy had. He had something special, the "IT" factor.

  • graham loves to wave his finger around

  • i want sunglasses like that

  • @pedinoway2 Superstar Graham's or Marty O'Neill's?

  • @DotDotkins superstar

  • Superstar had a great idea and style. But maybe it was too soon for wrestling at that time?

  • promo gold

  • Translation= He has a parnter now i have a partner too, my partner is Polish like me, mr brother/my partner were going to give it to that "super star" Larry H.( sound was muffled after that for a seconds then in 0:54 he said ) = This is my brother, my Polish brother, were going to drink, im going to drink second, when we finish then we will drink beer,. in 1:07 he told his brother were going to drink beer when we finish the fight

  • nice build wow

  • ivan ripped off mighty igor!

  • Scott Steiner was definitely influenced by Superstar Billy Graham

  • "do you know what a fist sandwich is?. "ive heard about it" classic!

  • @szalonygin Ivan putski to jego pseudonim, ażeby amerykański widzowie nie łamali sobie języka mówiac Józef Bednarski :)( Ivan Putski is his nickname, in order to americans doesn't have to rack their tongues sayin Józef Bednarski)

  • @SkatingSaruman2 Ivan Putski was a born again bisexual bodybuilder who loved to get naked with other wrestlers on steriods and take turns sticking their Polish sausage in each others greasy rectums.

  • @yourdickis2limp Acording to your utube name and what you wrote here, it seems like you have some strange obsession with cock. Come on buddy just come out of the closet allready!!!

  • Hulk Hogan is really a rip off version of billy graham but im not disrespecting Hogan as he was perfect for that era and Billy graham was abit before his time which is a big shame as Graham was more impressive muscle wise than Hogan.

  • @zZHighTimeZz people keep saying that hogan tried to be billy grahm sorry i dont see it they carried themselves totally different scott stiener was the wannabe billy grahm not hogan

  • @banenwn Im talking about the look but your right about the way they carried themselves and Billy promos were more creative than Hogans but its obvious that Hogan has tried to pull the look off but without the tiedye.

  • in the 70s, wrestlers were wanna be truck drivers. they hung out at truck stops eating all the big breakfasts they could get.

  • "Do you know what violence is??!! Gotta LOVE the Superstar!!!

"Do you unnerstand what I'm talkin' about???"

  • I don't think I've ever had a fist sandwich with salt, pepper, tomatoes, and lettuce...LOL

  • Fuck me it's Bluto from Popeye!

  • putski FTW! (my będziemy bić :D), (piwo wypijemy jak skończymy :D)

  • POLSKA RZĄDZI!!!

  • Is Da Crusher still alive?

  • @Bertminator Passed away on October 22, 2005 at the age of 79

  • Putski always had a big mouth and really got into himself.

  • besides...1973?....from Poland?..I would suggest that Ivan Putski did indeed know what violence was.....just the real stuff though!!

  • Later on, Putski burned off most that bodyfat. He became decently ripped yet retained his muscle mass and thickness.

  • @jamdawg Ivan was about 300-320 in this footage. By the time he finished up in the WWF in the mid-80s, Ivan had dropped to about 240, but was ripped to bodybuilder portportions.

  • @RayNDeere I heard that Schwarzenegger invited him to be in the '80 Mr Olympia after he shed that bodyfat.

  • Putski was always one hell of an idiot. He over did everything.

  • The Superstar was the real deal of any era. Hands down

  • God, Ivan Putski is hot!!!

  • @pornolover666666 TY KURWA BRAT MÓJ MY SIE PIWA NAPIJEMY, Z BABAMI POTAŃCZYMY I NA WYKOPIE POSIEDZIMY!....xDDD

  • what a moron

  • Putski was a take off on that great wrestler, The Mighty Igor Vodick.

  • Polisz power. I love my country. I love Poland

  • @MyPspzone five pound says you're working in the UK!!

  • @h0ckeyd ivan putcki Born in Poland

  • @MyPspzone I love my country (UK) I just don't like to see it being overrun by by foreigners when, unlike the Polish people, our people never asked or wanted it.

  • I can smell the Hai Karate

  • I can taste the Hai Karate!

  • This is the best!!! The announcer looks like an old school mafia don with those shades, Ivan Putski reminds me of the quintessential strong-man buffoon at a traveling Carny, and Billy Graham uttering meaningless drivel with his 1970's Elton John "Bennie And The Jets" style shades......

  • Superstar is the most copied wrestler of them all he was way way ahead of his time.

  • absolutely!...hulk hogan and jesse 'the body' ventura both RAPED his style!!!

  • @dubberdoodee exactly man, some younger fans think Hogan was original when he actually was just a basic rip off,i mean i have footage of Superstar ripping his shirt off before Hogan was even in the industry.

  • You can see where Hulk Hogan and Jesse Ventura got their styles from when you see Superstar Billy Graham.

  • Damn Putski must have been one of the original roid boys......he looks so unchiseled here compared to early 80's.

Graham rocks. I'd still watch wrestling if it was like this.

  • guy at the start is a monster

  • i loved these kind of interviews, the wrestling interviews these days are crap, they act like the camera isnt even there....Bull

  • I dont know whos glasses i like more...Superstars or the commentators.?!!!

  • Looks like he raided grahams sunglasses bag!

  • mighty igor was dick garza.putski is joe bednarski.garza started wrestling in the mid to late 50s.first he was mr michigan.then he became the mighty igor.he was a friend of mine.very good businessman also.

  • damn, those guys were thick!! beer fishing and wrestling will do that !

  • Ric Flair was no where near as charismatic as this guy!

Kepp in mind this is 1973. Flair was no where near this in those days!

Damn, I feel so bad that his health went to hell so bad. I hear that steroids really frigged him up internally

  • it's amazing how WWE fans no so little about The Mighty Igor and Putski took his whole gimmick. the only thing Putski didn't do that igor did was play with toys in the ring.

  • SuperStar at his Best..Pure Classic..!

  • billy graham the original wrestling superstar, before hogan, the rock, stone cold etc.etc. this guy was the original one who started it all.

  • I thought that was The Mighty Igor up first. So, was Igor and Ivan Putski the same person?

  • No. Different, but similar look and gimmick.

  • 'Popped Cartilidges!" Graham had class!

  • Old School as fuck.

  • great up, superstar is a legend. great quality film from 73 too

  • ivan putski lives in the austin ,tx area now. he sold real estate for awhile and now works at one of the local high schools his son played football for TCU a few years back.. he is a very decent guy

  • These hands can crush coconuts! Straighten out a horse shoe! Ha ha ha!! Superstar is and was the Greatest of all time. Bob Backlund ur a fraud and should have never beatin the Superstar,he still has his foot on the ropes.

  • Marty O'Neill forever................

  • oops "often imitated but never duplicated"!

Graham Influence has been present long after he retired from the ring!

Puzki is massive & huge here and I'm sure he worked really hard over a long period to chisel and sculpt himself!

  • The Super Star is the most emulated wrestler of a ll time and as the old cliche he probably created goes he was "often emulated and never duplicated"!

Graham also competed in some of the original World's Strongest Man Competitions.

He even made that fist sandwich sound appetizing!

  • You know what happened when Hogan saw the Superstar's promos? He said, "Oh shit! I could never be as great on the mic as the Superstar! I had better steal as much as I can from from the Superstar now for as long as I can. Superstar just made my Top 10. Either Austin or P.S. Hayes gotta drop down.

  • You have to understand. Hogan, and all the rest of the parrots that followed in his wake, were all simply clones that Graham had created. He was the man. all hype and joking aside. Vince will solemnly tell you, if it weren't for Graham there'd be no "sports entertainment" (wrestling) as we know it today. Period.

  • i was never an AWA fan but some of this footage is really good stuff.

  • I saw all this stuff in Denver...between 71-74 all star wrestling was something I will never forget! at its prime...superstar graham will always be my favorite wrestler. to see him walk out of the dressing room was a sight back then. the strap match with wahoo sold out (standing room only)...of all the wresling stuff I own (lots) I still have not found the tv arm wrestling angle where attacks wahoo...wahoo blades live and I was a fan forever...some of the old awa tv was very bloody

  • bigbluedinosaur ...if that is fat ...I want to be fat...dude is built like a defensive end..

  • Superstar was way ahead of his time.

  • i agree. graham was the only wrestler in the 70's who didnt look like a big fat truck driver. people often compare hogan and graham. yeah right hogan wishes he had that definition and those abs.

  • @ant8tfive

Graham was a steroid user! He had to have a hip operation many years later. I was a fan of the Superstar myself.

  • @ant8tfive I don't know what wrestling you were watching in the 70s, but I remember Ricky Steamboat, Tony Atlas, Paul Orndorff, Ken Patera, the Iron Sheik, Jimmy Snuka and many others who looked just as good as Graham. They might not have had a hyper-chiseled six-pack like the Superstar, but that's only because Graham destroyed his body with steroids to look like he did. Read Graham's autobiography, if you haven't already.

  • dam putski party hard all night

he used to be a mr.olympia in wwe because of his defined physique and now this

i didn't know he wrestled in this shape

  • Great shit! Da Crusher could always murder dem bumbs like Superstar Billy and Ivan Koloff. And I liked Putski better when he was big and fat like he is here. Somebody get me a beer!

  • Look at Putski's physique. He had a powerlifter build then. That was all muscle that he lost to take on the body builder phsique

  • "he from poland he doesnt know violence"

thats polish peoples life ever heard of hooligans?

  • its gonna be a trick or treat or a treatment?

you know what these hands can do? these hands can crush coconuts? these hands can straighten out horseshoe! lol get the fuck outta here!!! lol that was classic Superstar Billy Graham! He was the original highlight reel! all due respect to the legend!

  • on sat mournigs on chanel 6 thoses were the days more old awa please the baron with his walk

  • You know what a fist sandwich is?

  • saturday night 12-1am!

  • great clip!

  • fist samich

  • Superstar! What a talker!

  • Piwa wypijemy jak skończymy i z babami będziemy tańczyć ;)

(For those who never came across polish before Ivan says here something like "We`ll drink beer when were done, and then we`ll go dancing with the ladies";))

    My Hometown hero ;)

  • I found this on a website

Ivan Putski (Joe Bednarski) later adopted Mighty Igor(Garza's) character and became a star in his own right during the ‘70s. "He stole it," said Eadie. "It was something good, but Ivan was never as good as Igor. Ivan was a very obnoxious person. He just saw the gimmick. The most important ingredient was liking people, and Igor liked people. I guess it's flattery if somebody stole it, but he didn't do well with it."

  • It is amazing how much Ivan Putski resmebled the Mighty Igor

  • tottally get all these vidies...and mighty igor..lol

  • LOL!!! That's Ivan Putski?!?!?! :o

He looks NOTHING like what he looked lke later in WWF in the 80's. LOL. Daaaaaaaamn!!! He seemed to have shed a half of himself. LOL.

  • He was a close copy of the Mighty Igor.

  • LMAO ;)P

  • Close copy? Looks like a complete reproduction of Igor. Ivan was about 300 at this time, but by the early 80s was down to about 250 pounds.

  • Yeah - later on he started working out and replaced all the fat with muscles
